My wifey has, now used to, this favorite cookie from an insanely overpriced bakery in NYC. She was supposed to get a gift box but she was let down (unsurprisingly-insider joke) and ended up empty handed. Sorry to see her sad, I looked at getting a box of them shipped but said "royal screw this" when they turn out to cost $10 a cookie for 6 of them with shipping! They are ok, but decidedly NOT worth over $4 a cookie. Instead of flushing down my hard earned money to an overpriced snobby NY bakery, I found this local bakery that only delivers for the time being. The reviews were top so I decided to chance it! The website ordering was user friendly. The delivery window is 5 hours, so they can improve on that (this is not cable service). Otherwise, their selection was comprehensive and unique. I ordered a box of 12, which entitles you to 4 cookies of 3 varieties. I wish they had a true mix of 12 cookies, but being a small business, I understand the economics of doing it this way. I asked for a first thing in the morning delivery, and by luck or not, it was delivered right at the start of the window! Still warm and all! We got the andes, yin yan (black and white), and the walnut and chocolate ones. They were all delicious, and the latter was our favorite. The price was reasonable and it was a good first experience with cookie delivery. Now wifey has a new favorite and no more wasting our money and feelings on overpriced...
Read moreMunster Cravings makes amazing cookies—seriously, they are top-tier. However, the customer service? A complete disaster.
When we walked in on Saturday, March 22nd, around 4:30 PM, the young lady at the counter was glued to her phone, giving off the clear impression that we were inconveniencing her by simply being there. If that was her goal, mission accomplished.
I’m not here to judge how someone was raised, but when it comes to running a business, customer service matters. If the owner or management reviews the security footage (assuming they have one), they’ll see exactly why this employee needs serious coaching on basic client experience skills. And if she isn’t willing to grow, honestly, I wouldn’t have her working for me even for free—let alone on payroll.
Running a business is tough, and rent isn’t cheap. Hiring people with an “I’m lucky to have this job” mindset instead of an “You’re lucky I showed up” attitude is crucial. Unfortunately, the latter mentality is all too common these days.
As much as I love these cookies, I won’t be back. Dealing with attitude-filled people is already part of daily life—I’m certainly not paying for the experience...

I wanted a dessert after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled upon this gem. It is located at The Chattahoochee Food Works (cool spot to check out).
The display container included various flavored cookies. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the chocolate chip cookie. I asked the cashier to make sure I get a soft one. He replied and said all of them are soft since they are cooked daily! Let me warn you- this cookie is not cheap! One cookie is $4!!
I decided to sit on a bench and enjoy my treat. The first bite was amazing. I can’t pit into words how great the cookie taste as well as the combination of the perfect texture. I really believe this is the best cookie I have had in a long time!! I am glad that this place is not in close proximity to me because I am sure I would want to indulge in the goodness of these cookies more frequently. Do yourself a favor and check...
