This was the worst experience at a Hobnob that I’ve ever had.
For starters my entry into the establishment was perfect. Nice friendly staff greeting me at the door, letting me know trivia would be starting within the next 20-30 mins upstairs. I was excited because this was my first time at the Atlantic Station location being that I normally visit the Alpharetta location. So I was hoping it would live up to the same great standards I always receive there…
Shortly after walking upstairs I realized it does NOT!
First things first, no one greeted me or gave seating directions even though I was standing by the bar where multiple spots were open with used glasses etc. Instead of the multiple servers and bartenders who walked past me stopping to say, “hey welcome in. It’s open seating, we’ll be right with you” they all looked and kept walking.
After realizing these people aren’t paying enough attention to recognize me I stopped someone and found out, it’s open seating. I sat right in front of dirty dishes at the bar and again, at no point did any of the people coming or going grab the glasses from the previous customer, wipe the counter, or offer a menu!
Eventually, I saw a couple leaving at table so I moved to the other area hoping to receive better service than I did at the bar and it was actually the same if not worse.
The manager Zeek came over to ask if I was okay because I was clearly looking for someone to come bust the table. When he arrived I mentioned that I just wanted to order because I already knew exactly what I wanted since I get the same thing at the other location. He followed up by saying he’s just the manager helping get people seated with a water to start and he would have the table server over soon.
I appreciated the transparency so without question, I waited patiently. Another 10 mins goes by and I had to flag someone down because I realized it was pretty long since zeek left.
I got Lamonica as my server and while she was a nice young lady (never rude nor never nasty to me) she was a terrible waiter! For starters, I NEVER got a refill the whole 1hr+ I was there, as you can see there is only one glass in the photo… at no time did she even ask if I wanted something other than water. I also never received napkins or other utensils. I was happy the guy who brought my entrée had a spoon in there otherwise I probably would’ve been waiting for that too. Because I never was checked on I ended up stopping another guy (tall, black, with a few neck tattoos) for napkins and he did the same thing Lamonica did… NEVER RETURN. I almost felt invisible until it was time for her to bring my check.
All in all, if I could give this location a -5 stars I would because there’s no reason majority of this staff is that absent minded and unaware of providing quality customer service. Especially on this moderately trafficked night (not busy at all). It could be lack of training but whatever it is, I won’t be returning or...

So we were invited to Atlantic Station to attend a food and wine festival of sorts that turned out to be a complete dud. We left HUNGRY and looking for some sort of way to enjoy our evening.
Looking into HobNob, we saw that this place was packed, and people appeared to be enjoying their food and having conversations.
As we walked in, I immediately read a sign at the host stand that says 21+ ONLY upstairs, Hookah service, live Dj. And I’m hooked, ok?!
Service: 4/5 Service was just fine. heading up the stairs, we were immediately greeted by a host that pointed out available seats. This lounge situation is first come first serve seating. So we ended up sitting at the bar near the DJ. it appeared to be a shared bartending situation, so you didn’t have to order from the same person to get additional items. And when we closed out the check came pretty fast. I like that they use handheld devices because you can check the total bill and pay all in one.
Prices: 5/5 I believe prices were fair based off what we got. Two drinks:one old-fashioned and one rosé. $25 Two entrees:Chicken Alfredo and beef and potatoes $50 Hookah $58 (EXPENSIVE)
PARKING: Reasonable price of $4 for our time. Make sure to park near the staircase closest to your destination.
Ambiance: 5/5 I have to be honest and say that I’m a sucker for ratchet vibes with safety first.
Upon entry, you can tell this was a very ATL situation. The DJ was playing extra loud music. There was a birthday girl thoroughly enjoying her night. There was an 80 year old man and of course some corporate people….but it was definitely a hip-hop and R&B environment of mid-late 20s.
Taste/Textures: 4/5 They are using way too much seasoning nowadays. The beef as well as the sprouts. My partner really enjoyed the fact that they added a creamy sauce to the brussels sprouts and I was impressed as well. Chicken Alfredo was solid.
The over-seasoning killed my taste buds, however the potatoes had no seasoning. Loved my rosè! Loved the hookah.
Value: 5/5
I’d say this was definitely worth the visit and somewhere that I would visit again. We noticed there’s a really large outdoor porch area that will be super fun in the upcoming warmer days at Atlantic Station.
Check it out for yourself, with expectations that this is a PARTY atmosphere upstairs. Downstairs is where you can have a civilized conversation and hang out.
TLDR: Settled on HobNob for a solid meal, ended up enjoying our time, because of the turn up upstairs!

We seated ourselves and end up getting a corner table outside with a great view of Atlantic Station. The temperature had dropped some so we wanted to turn on the propane heater that was beside our table but it didn’t work. So after ordering our food in our first round of drinks once we saw a free table we decided to move to the table since it was inside. By this time the heater didn’t work, there weren’t enough glasses for the champagne flight special and it took us almost 10 minutes to get just a water. The food came before the drinks, we try to understand because it wasn’t that many staff members. The waiter that was not ours and whose table we sat blatantly told us “will you all be ordering more because you’re messing up my money.” Now it was definitely a better way to say that and it definitely messed up our whole experience for a Galentine’s. I don’t know if we didn’t look like we were going to Tip or she made that assumption off of whatever notion was in her brain but I ran to the bar and told him to cancel the second round of drinks that we had coming in & to close out the tabs. The nice manager ended up coming over and we explained the situation. She offered us a free round of the champagne flights. Which was fine She tried her best and I am very grateful for her. A nice young women with beautiful locs and great customer service. He decided to stay in the room waitress decided to move two chairs Over to the table where we were and as people kept walking back-and-forth from the bathroom they kept bumping into the chairs. I felt that she did that just to have a reason to come over there and try to keep being rude. This experience even though the manager trying her hardest will help me to never coming back. What she failed to realize was we would have tipped her very well instead we “messed up” her money 🤦🏿♀️ DJ was jamming...
