I was ecstatic to find a place that was kid friendly and was one of the main reasons we came here. We came for my daughter birthday and I was pleased that they were accommodating and seated us quickly upon our arrival. The hostess asked if we preferred low level seating which was nice which was not far from the bar but located in the center that was surrounded around booth seating and tvs all around the room . The menu encompassed a range of food : sandwiches, burgers, nachos , pizza , salmon , steak to name a few. They also had wine , beer, cocktails, desserts. I also love the variety of foods featured in the kids menu: pizza , tenders , sliders. My daughter is a picky eater and I was glad to see options that she could choose from and to see her enjoy her meal. I ordered pizza for her but I plan to come back to try the other items. She also tried the boneless buffalo chicken (she likes spicy food ) She took small bites and eventually ate it all without any dipping sauce or drinking any beverage lol which is typically unusual. I ordered the four cheese spinach dip and orange chicken . Both of the meals were delicious and I would definitely order again. The waiter was patient and came back when we weren’t ready to order . He had dreads with blonde tips. Our food came out fairly quickly and he asked if we needed anything and when we did need anything else he was ready to assist which I greatly appreciated. The hostess informed us to let the waiter know it was my daughter birthday . She was wearing her birthday tiara and birthday sash and I wanted her to get to experience the staff singing her happy birthday because she never experienced that before. Nor did we see a kid dessert option. the waiter did not offer her anything. So that’s why I didn’t give a 5 star. She’s a kid , I don’t have that expectation for myself but I wanted her birthday to be acknowledged at this establishment...

Yard House in Midtown Atlanta is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food, an extensive beer selection, and a lively atmosphere. I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it exceeded my expectations in every way.
The location is perfect—situated right in the heart of Midtown, making it convenient whether you’re a local or visiting the area. The restaurant has a modern and inviting vibe, with a spacious interior and plenty of seating options. It’s ideal for a casual lunch, dinner with friends, or even a date night.
The menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit any palate. From appetizers to mains, everything we ordered was flavorful and expertly prepared. I highly recommend the Korean BBQ wings and the truffle fries as starters—they were absolutely delicious. For the main course, the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and Poke Nachos were standout options.
Of course, Yard House is known for its incredible beer selection, and they did not disappoint. The range of craft beers on tap is second to none, with options for every taste. If you’re not sure what to choose, the staff is knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations.
Speaking of the staff, the service was top-notch. Our server, Kyle, was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire meal. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was prompt, and everything came out fresh and perfectly timed.
The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or drinks. Whether you’re here for happy hour or a full dinner, the energy of the space adds to the experience.

Read moreAfter a bit of shopping at Atlantic Station, I decided to treat myself to a meal at Yard House on a bustling Sunday afternoon around 4 PM. The place was packed, but I was seated immediately at one of their cozy side tables—perfect for a party of one.
Appetizer: I started with the calamari, and let me tell you, it was a fantastic choice! The portion size was generous, the seasoning was spot on, and it was cooked to a crispy perfection. If you’re a calamari lover, don’t skip this one.
Main Course: Originally, I had my sights set on a steak, but after seeing mixed reviews, I pivoted to one of their popular favorites—the BBQ Bacon Burger with fries, cooked medium. It did not disappoint. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and downright delicious, with just the right balance of smoky BBQ and crispy bacon. The fries were a nice complement—simple yet satisfying.
Dessert: To end the meal, I ordered the Oreo Brookie. Visually, it was a stunner, but taste-wise, it fell a bit short for me. My portion leaned heavily on the “cookie” side, and I didn’t get much of the Oreo or brownie flavors I was hoping for. It’s worth a try, but it might not blow you away.
Service and Atmosphere: The restaurant was incredibly busy, and the service reflected that—slow but understandable given the crowd. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating, which made up for the wait. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, perfect for a casual outing.
Overall Verdict: Yard House offers a great vibe, delicious food, and an awesome staff. Just be prepared for a potential wait if you visit during peak hours. Would I go back? Absolutely. I’d recommend it to anyone in the area, especially for the calamari and BBQ Bacon Burger.
