When you are expecting the firs picture and you get there and it is the second pic it is kind of frustrating. After arguing with the manager of the rink and her arguing with me about the size of the rink and that this rink is probably a bit bigger, I was getting nowhere. She asked why does it matter where the rink is? The fact is, it isn't about the rink size or the ice. It is the experience. We are from South Dakota and are in Atlanta visiting. When we were looking for something to do and came across Atlantic Station, we were inspired by what the website showed the ice rink to be, in the middle of skyscrapers and such a great atmosphere. It was not that at all. We also paid for the "Skip the Line" tickets. I would not waste your time. There was never a line there more than about 10 people. Also the skates were horrible. My oldest daughter has been playing hockey for 6 years and looked like she has never skated before. The rink management said they could not refund my money because I bought the tickets online. Overall it was an experience that i would not recommend to any one.

I read online that the atmosphere at Atlantic Station skating is like going to Rockefeller Center. Could you imagine going to Rockefeller Center and seeing a Ice Rink that looks like it is in a...

I attended Skate the Rink on 11/26/2022 for a date night with my husband. I made reservations days in advance and paid the few. An incident occurred that night that made it unsafe for us to continue our skate. The police evacuated the rink and told us we had to leave immediately. I returned my shoes and approached the office for a refund. I was told I would receive a full refund. I received an email saying I would get a refund back to my account in 7 days. 7 days later I responded to the email and let the support team know that I had not received a refund. They responded that the refund had been processed and that I needed to contact my bank and allow a few more days for the refund to go through. I contacted my bank and they told me that no refund was showing initiated and to contact the merchant again. 10 days later I contacted the support team 2 more times and never got a reply back. I have had to submit a dispute with my bank that will not be resolved until Jan of 2023. So after a horrifying experience here that ruined my date night I couldn’t even get my money back as I was promised and I have to wait 2 months to even get a reply back from the merchant to approve the dispute with my bank. This is absolutely horrible business practice. I will never patronize this...

This was by far the absolute worst ice-skating experience of my 43 years on this planet. They have one person who is able to check people in or out. Buying your ticket in advance does not get you in any faster it only guarantees you get to get a ticket. We showed up for our reservation at 4 o’clock and did not get on the ice until almost 530 and then of course they were cleaning the ice so we had to wait an additional 20 minutes and it was after 6 o’clock before we finally got on the ice. After 10 minutes the entire group of my daughters friends were in so much pain from the skates that they were sick of it and just wanted to stop. And from what I could tell from the other guests there after about 10 or 15 minutes their ankles could not take the pain of the skates. Every one of us has bruises on our ankles. I would rather skate on the pond in the woods on broken skates than ever go back here again. Oh my daughter wanted to do for her birthday we go ice-skating and by the time she finally got to go ice-skating she was so miserable she just wanted to go home. This makes me not even want to go back to Atlantic...

It was a great winter experience I experienced in Atlanta. It is situated at Atlantic Station and is available for all age groups. Before entering, you must complete an online registration form, after which they will apply yellow tape to your wrist and provide you with skating shoes in your size at the counter. For a single ticket, you are expected to skate for an hour. If this is your first time skating on ice, I recommend using plastic supporters, which you can see in my videos. I also fell a few times while skating, but nothing happened. Once you know the technique, you'll be able to do it without any support. I paid 17.14$ for this experience. Also, you can buy their monthly pass, which is much cheaper. The skate park will only be open during the winter season.

I came later in tbe day thinking therewould be fewer people but I was wrong. It was crowded but not enough to where you couldn't skate. My only complaint is about the social media influencers who come and directly stand in the middle of where people are skating trying to get the perfect shot. 1 girl did this the entire HOUR we were there. Not to mention was skating in the opposite direction so someone could film her. I had fun but had to be really cautious when skating to not hurt anyone. Right behind the rink there's a beautiful Christmas tree where everyone was taking photos. It shoots out fake snow every so often & the kids loved it.
