Let me start off by saying that while the food is good, this place is not that remarkable or memorable. It just feels very "Atlanta" and what I define that as is it gives off the impression of being ran/having policies created by a former club owner or promoter deciding to get in the restaurant business. Not only does that not translate well, but they really need to focus on master the basics instead of trying to have an "exclusive club" type vibe. Let me breakdown everything for you:
Club-Like Policies: We went for a girls night out on my birthday weekend. If you look carefully at the reservations, parties over 6 require a non refundable $200 deposit that seemingly goes towards nothing AND a $100 food and drink minimum per person...pretty excessive. Luckily there ended up only being 6 ladies who came. Upon arrival, my party was made to wait outside in a line by a velvet rope until all of our party was present....we could not even go inside and order drinks at the bar. Keep in mind the restaurant was NOT full. The bar had open seats, there were also many open tables.
Environment: The DJ was rolling. Playing all the early 2000s and R&B hits. He even came over the personally speak to our table, gave me a birthday shout out, and took a music request from me. It has that run of the mill "Secret Garden" decor that has Atlanta in a chokehold...you know, the fake wisteria hanging from the ceiling, a neon light sign. They layout of the tables is very cramped, so much so that the servers have hard times navigating to the tables. It looks more plush online and social media than it does in reality. However, the patio is very warm with the patio heating lamps and the ability to close it off is very nice.
Service: Our server, Calvin was amazing. He was very forthcoming about how the menu would be switching to the late night menu 5 minutes after we sat, very fun and personable, and went above and beyond to capture videos and pictures of our party for my birthday.
Drinks: I only had a tequila shot and two drinks because the bar took FOREVER to process drink orders. When I say forever, our first drinks did not get to our table until everyone was almost finished with their food. I literally waited 45 minutes to consume my first shot on my birthday. This is a MAJOR fail. However, the presentation of the drinks was nice. Most of our table had French 75's (which were not authentic but tasty) and the French Tart which was beautiful and delicious.
Food: Our reservation was at 10 p.m. so we weren't in a dinner mood. Our table ordered a Caesar salad, the oysters, a charcuterie board (that only came with 2 pieces of toasted bread which is odd and not enough), the mango shrimp, mussels, and the spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was flavorful. The mango shrimp was a bit on the salty side.
Overall, it was an ok experience, but this isn't a place you'll yearn to go back to or tell all your friends they must try. It will likely succumb to the Atlantic Station curse...most new places have short shelf life there and I imagine this establishment will be the same if they don't relax some of their policies and focus on basic restaurant...
Read moreI came to dinner after work. I’ve seen this place being promoted but wasn’t pleased with their services. The thin tall young man that was my server didn’t come to take my order for 10-15mins when it was only me and the person next to me at the bar and the whole restaurant. He was by the door behind the bar and I was across the kitchen door at the other end of that bar. Needless to say, since I came in him and his coworker didn’t greet me and just told me to sit at the bar. He was upset I got up and interrupted their conversation after saying excuse me multiple times. He snappily sad I’ll be right with you, after a few mins more he came and asked for my drink. He took 20 mins to bring me my orange juice, with an attitude. I asked for a straw and he rolled his eyes and walked away, came back when I said I was ready to order. He left again to the other end with an attitude. It was 45 mins and no update to my food, I asked in an upset tone from my seat for updates on where my food was and he didn’t say a word went inside came out and said we’re out of that. The person next to me was ALSO WAITING FOR THEIR FOOD and he’d been there longer than me. I asked why he didn’t say that I’ve been waiting, as the cook in the back peeks out the door, the waiter redundantly says to get something else and everything I asked for they were out of. How can you run an establishment without food and not tell your customers about it?? I say no thank you I’m good thanks, I got up from the bar stool and walked away, the cook comes out and asks me to stay and he’s willing to pay for my food. The cook had more kindness than the waiter who couldn’t serve. He said he felt terrible and didn’t want me to go without eating, he made me a steak and veggies. I didn’t want him to pay for me so I said I’d be willing to pay since it’s not on him. He said no, and apologized that I should’ve been notified. I told him about the orange juice and my neighbor not getting their food either or drink. He apologized and fed us. I got my food and it was a nice gesture however when I got my plate brought by the cook, “my waiter” came in with my check and he charged me for my orange juice. He and his coworker were bickering about me the whole time I was there. I was already distraught and decided to not argue, I paid for my juice after I finished eating quickly, said thanks to the cook for the food, and said goodbye to the two kind, hard working, door knobs, & they dared asked if I enjoyed my stay and to come back again. I’m never stepping foot or recommending this establishment to anyone. I hope the cook finds a better place or they get better waiters, it was the worst experience what a waste of...

Sam listened to what I had to say and said he wanted to make it right. He made us reservations for Sunday 2/19. Calvin our sever was TOP TIER and it was only his 2nd day! Food was great! Live saxophonist was amazing. Sam even gifted me with tokens for the champagne vending machine and rounds for the girls. I hate that the experience had to be terrible to receive this kind of treatment.

The ambiance is there. Service is not!!
Made reservations for our Galentine’s Dinner Date for Feb. 11 8:30. Arrive to the restaurant/bar and was seated outside. Which would have been fine had it not been raining and cold. They had 1 heat lamp. As thee wind continues to blow we are getting wet. I don’t know who’s idea was it to have outdoor seating and it not be covered except for mesh screen during thee winter time. Thee roof was leaking raindrops onto thee table and on us. Thee poor server was so lost in thee sauce. Not sure if she was new or what have you but she began to take orders then just stopped. Just kept walking away after 2 orders. We asked for thee manager. She never gave her name and looked like a deer in headlights while talking to her. Just walked up and stood there. We explained that it is cold, raining and we were getting wet and there should be no reason why you have patrons sitting outside. She said “let me see if we can accommodate you inside”. We asked about thee bar and was told you needed reservations for that even though it was seating for our party size. They have a section in thee back that could seat us but we were advised that’s it’s for VIP and it’s $1500. This is not a night club who would pay that price for Atlantic Station. I can see a table minimum but $1500 is absurd. And if no-one has reserved for thee night, why not let a large party sit verses letting it sit empty and not make any money off of it. Manager never came back after “seeing what she can do”. Instead she stands at thee bar with her fellow co-workers having a grand time laughing, talking and dancing to thee DJ inside. Our server finally comes back to take thee rest of thee orders for thee table and at this point is 9:21. Almost an hour with no drinks and still getting rained on. We ended up calling Hob Nob which is next door and just leaving. As we are in Hob Nob we see a table that was also at Rosé walk in. I’ll give them another try but they need to have a leadership meeting and figure...
