I had a bad experience at this location recently. I ordered online to save myself some time on my lunch break from work. It was during lunch rush, so I came in about 15 minutes after the estimated time it would be ready to ensure it would be a quick pickup as I’ve experienced some minor delays at this location when ordering online in the past. My order was not ready when I got there, which was disappointing, but it looked like they were working on a very large online order which was backing up their orders. This is inconvenient, but understandable and out of the control of the staff working that day. What was not ok is that when I asked the employee about my order, he found my ticket and simply said “I got you,” then proceeded to help 3 customers who walked in the door after I arrived before preparing my order. So, I waited in the store for 20 minutes - making my order a total of 35 minutes later than the estimated time. I quite literally would have received my order faster had I walked in and ordered at the counter in the middle of lunch rush - I know this because I watched 3 people do this and get their food while I waited on an order I had already paid for. When I got home, I also realized that my order was missing some of the ingredients I had ordered on the sub. I ended up filing a complaint regarding my experience in the app and received an automated response to expect a team member to reach out within 48 hours. I arrived at the store at 7:17 pm and my order was scheduled for pickup at 7:46 pm. The gentleman who n the grill greeted me and I told him I was there to pick up a mobile order. He couldn’t find my order and I had to show him the confirmation on my phone. He finally printed my order and then said “You are early and you will have to wait” in a nasty tone. I knew I was early and had no problem waiting but I just knew they would go ahead and fix my food once they slowed down with walk-ins. The gentleman on the register went to the board, with the same gloves he had on dealing with money, to where online orders were hanging and made 1 sandwich. Afterwards, he sat the receipt n top of the bread of the sandwich…….UNSANITARY!!!!! After standing there and observing this as well as still not having my order prepared 20 minutes later, I finally went to the counter at 7:37 to ask for a refund. The young man making sandwiches stopped to come give me the refund and the gentleman asked n the grill came to the register to ask what the issue was. I have a gluten allergy, and when I first spoke to the employee, he was very kind and informed me that my sandwich would take a little longer because they’d need to clean the area. I totally understood and wasn’t bothered by the wait at all. Unfortunately, when he told another employee, she rolled her eyes and spent the entire time complaining about having to make my sandwich. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing situation for me, and honestly, I’ve never been treated this way because of a medical issue before. The people in line behind me even commented on how uncomfortable it was for them too. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I really hope the staff here can do better in treating all customers with respect, especially those with medical concerns.
