Ok I've held off this review but I cannot hold back any longer. The first two times I visited, great burger but the wait was way too long. I took the excuse of 'workers didn't show up' as Pandemic-related. Last night though, the wait was EXCRUCIATINGLY LONG! I was the third car in the drive through and it took a full 26 minutes to get to the ordering stanchion. Once there I placed my order for two items - the speaker said "just a sec". NINE MINUTES LATER the speaker took my order - doublecheese burger and large fry. As I proceeded further, there was no one in line at the drive up window! By all appearances, the cashier was taking an order, cooking it and then giving it to the customer and only then taking the next drivers order; This is Completely UNSATISFACTORY! At the window, I paid and waited 11 minutes for my order. Though now livid, I thanked the cashier (who was very nice and stated there were only two workers) and drove off. Due to the high traffic, I was not able to assess my meal for 2 minutes while I merged into traffic. Once I bit into the fries (which I've Never had an issue with since the new version came out) they were UNDERCOOKED & unsalted! It literally was like eating a mushy piece of potato and not a French fry at all!!! I immediately took a bite out of the burger and it too was UNDERCOOKED and 'cool' to the touch!!! I, incorrectly, assumed that since I waited so long for the food that it would be hot and prepared correctly but NO it was not. The entire time it took from getting in line to finally getting my meal was in excess of 44 minutes and the meal was absolutely TERRIBLE. Seeing as I had almost a 2 hour drive home, I had many thoughts about this particular Krystal's; pull their franchise (as this cannot be a company owned store) and close it down. As I stated earlier, this was not the first time I've received less than steller service at this location however, now that I've received a tasteless - REALLY TASTELESS - meal, I will NOT be back here! Hopefully 'corporate' or maybe the franchise owner will view this review and rectify the situation but...... who really knows. Read moreI ordered breakfast (grits, eggs, toast and bacon) from the Drive Thru. I asked for grape jelly and salt and pepper. When i got to the window. the gentleman gave me a bag with a container or grits and a container of eggs (it was not in the platter it usually would come. The young man said they were out of platters. Also in the bag was something wrap in paper that I took to be my toast and bacon. When I reach my destination, I looked the bag to find they had forgotten my bacon instead of grape jelly it was two packets of mayonnaise. I called immediately and the young lady on the phone apologized and told me that I could come back and get the bacon. Once I told young lady that I was a distance a way, she told me that she would write my name down and come back later. I told the you lady I would be in the area on Tuesday and I would stop by then. She apologized for the error and we ended the call. I went to the same Krystal on Northside to order breakfast again and I attempted to tell the person over the intercom (who I found out later was the manager) about the mishap and her response was "I was on vacation last week and I don't anything about you coming to pick up bacon". I told her that young lady said she wrote my name down and the manager's response was "I don't see it so you came for some bacon". I told her yes and no. I was going to add to my order. I ended up getting quite frustrated with the Manager and told her to keep the bacon and the money. She was rude and unprofessional. I truly believe good customer service starts at the top. Read moreI will never return to Krystal after receiving the threats from a cashier I believe to be named Derrica. I came thru the drive thru as usual. Paid and was given my orange juice. Then the cashier tells me to pull forward and the blue mustang behind me to not move up, creating a gap at the window. A couple of minutes passed and the cashier tells the mustang to move forward to get there food. They get there food and drive off and I’m still pulled up forward. The cashier then leans out the window to prompt me to reverse back to the window. Had my window not had been rolled down I would of heard her. I told her could y’all bring my food out like any other time verses me backing up to the window. She immediately began to speak over me and became very hostile. I simply didn’t know what was going on. I had literallly seen someone walk a food order out before me, so I wondered why u couldn’t get the same. I request a refund and she begins to curse and yell at another employee to come inside and give “this man” a refund. Once inside we exchange words on why I was upset but she wasn’t hearing it. Spoke over me. Called me a “dumb ass”, said she don’t make me “call my folks”. Carrying on as if she was in the streets. 10:15 in the morning.
