Do you guys remember all the good times you used to have at Waffle House? Well guess what. That’s long gone.
I was feeling nostalgic for greasy nasty disgusting food that would surely make me empty my stomach out the back door soon. Many flushes were about to be in my future. I could anticipate the white knuckle grip on the toilet that was coming my way.
I was so eager to have a felon be rude while taking my order. And then be asked for a tip for the subpar service.
Was it to be? Was I going to get my greasy spoon truck stop wannabe meal of my dreams? Was I about to dine with the lowest of the low? Would I be sitting next to a felon? Would I be sitting next to a drunk? Would I be sitting next to a homeless person? Would they smell? Would they be nasty, despicable the worst of the worst? was it going to get to use the greasiest slimiest fall out of your hand silverware and cutlery known man? Was my seat going to be sticky? Was the menu going to be sticky? Was there going to be crappy music playing? Was I going to get to slide across the dirty floor that hadn’t been clean since the 1980s was I going to get to use the nastiest toilet on the face of the Earth? Was it going to experience odors in aromas and nastiness? I have not seen since that one time in August at the construction site with the overflowing portable toilet Was I going to get to hear a version of the English language I only dreamed about because I had seen it on TV was it going to have the worst meal on earth was there going to be a fight inside the restaurant? Or would I be hearing the words, baby mama I see names on name tags that I had no idea how to pronounce? Would I be charged $15 for a greasy sandwich with all my dining fantasies finally come true on this day
Sadly, it was not to be After I parked him again to walk across the parking lot there was littered with trash and oil spills. I approached the door cautiously I went to open it, but it was locked. I was denied entry to the Waffle House. I think I’m gonna have to reach out to Amnesty International maybe NATO or the United Nations This crime of denial of injury to the Waffle House will go unmatched or equal in all of history.
Alas, I was denied all I had dreamed for with my spirit crushed in my dream shattered in front of me I slowly crawl back to my truck. What would I do now as I begin to wipe away the tears and blow my nose a wave of sadness came over me, such as I have never felt from being denied this experience And then in the darkness when all Hope is lost, there was a glimmer of light a ray of Hope across the street it was Chick-fil-A. Oh my God I had forgotten about Chick-fil-A. A new wave of joy and happiness rushed through me and restored my strength. I cross the street and it was bright cherry, helpful clean, and they were so nice. they spoke The English. They asked my name. What could they do to help me? They said things such as how are you thank you my pleasure. Have a great day. How could this be and I got a great breakfast for just over seven dollars
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to go on this journey with me and I look forward to sharing more my adventures...

This waffle house is a disgrace to the franchise. They do not uphold nor reflect ANY of the core values of Waffle House which is to "provide friendly service, quality food, and unique experience". They managed to accomplish 1 out of 3! Which was a very unique experience! Traveling from SC and heading to Louisiana, stopping at a local Waffle House and being told that they were CROSS CONTAMINATING THEIR FOOD, so I wouldn't be able to receive anything as simple as some hash brown potatoes .... During a rush hour. In addition to being turned down for my order in an attempt to get the person that was with me food still... THEY MESSED THE WHOLE ORDER UP. SO WAITING 2 HOURS FOR NOTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! It's already a challenge being allergic to numerous things and not being able to apply specific filters online in order to ensure I wont die.
I'm not sure if it is because I have ADHD, but they did not want to serve me with respect and urgency. But I will NEVER stop at this waffle house again. But if they don't get it together soon, they will be the reason why Waffle House will be receiving a lawsuit, especially in the recent death of the 12 year old Mia St Hilaire died because of a employees negligent behavior to just WASH DISH.
Little things like this matter...
Read more4/22/2019, around 9:30 AM, Northside Dr. near 14th street, Atlanta. A. Waitress was unfriendly, uneducated and not paying attention to the order details. 1) I asked for coffee and Splenda, she didn't write it down and brought me coffee with cream, so I had to ask for Splenda again. 2) I asked for steak "salt-only" (my ulcer can't take peppers). She said "We cannot do it, we have pre-mixed seasoning with pepper" and brought and showed me the can with seasoning. (All WH units can, they cannot?) 3) When I tried to explain, she said "You don't have to yell at me!" and run away. 4) when I tried to catch her attention she said "I have a lot of stuff to do here" looking at me not as at customer but as at some annoying unwanted disturbance in her very important work. B. I call for shift manager, and he instead of apology and attempt to resolve the situation was defending her and also used "you can't do this, you can't do that." The most funny thing was when I said "This girl" pointing at waitress (she was running around so fast - I couldn't even read her name on a badge) he said "It's not a girl, it's a woman!" and "Calling a woman "girl" is offensive!". As a result, I left the food untouched on a table and went out. Will never come to...
