The drinks were good, the eggplant appetizer was alright but my boyfriend ordered the ghemeh bademjoon stew for me and I was offended at him for not ordering the normal soltani kabob that he normally orders for me at any other Persian restaurant we’ve gone to but I was also offended that this stew tasted nothing like the stew that his mother makes. I am a white girl from the Midwest and I am dating a Persian man straight out of Iran to put that into perspective (he moved to the states when he was 4 but has grown up with Persian cooking from his mother). I was so offended by not having tasty soltani lamb shank and that the one he ordered also lacked the normal Persian flavor... maybe it’s because it appears to be just white southern dudes in the kitchen instead of actual Persians cooking the food or that our table was kicked about a dozen times in our hour here but we will not be coming back. If you’re not a Persian cuisine connoisseur like I have become, you’ll be fine. The service was alright and the old fashioned was tasty but Jesus no flavor in the food. Needless to say... boyfriend will be going to the Taco Bell drive thru for a steak quesarito later for this. Allhamdulliah. Update: some manager man came up and asked us how it was and we let him know it wasn’t great compared to the other places, he then left abruptly and then followed us out to our car to give us the biggest piece of baklava to try and make up for it. Upgraded from three stars to four stars.

we were on our way to the airport and wanted an early dinner - something light so decided to stop by Sufis for appetizers. It’s my first time at this restaurant as we generally go to another Persian restaurant in the city. The place is small but we were seated right away and the service was quick and good. We ordered the appetizer sampler in which we could choose 3 appetizers so we choose the eggplant and salad shirazi; we ordered the yogurt as another side; and then a side of rice. the appetizers came with fresh bread and complimentary mint, parsley and feta cheese was given the eggplant and salad shirazi were good as was the rice; the bread was alright and tasted more frozen rather the fresh. the rice was also good and the portion size was decent for appetizers and side overall a good food experience here. was it good enough to take me away from my other place, no, but it’ was decent enough

We used to dine in and take out from this restaurant on regular basis. We loved this place but over the past few months we’ve consistently had bad experiences with this restaurant. Several of my friends even complained about their meat quality especially the kabab .. coming always undercooked and tasting different in a weird way. I tried so hard to stay loyal to the place and especially preferred to order out from them when we have guests over and decided to avoid the kabab and choose from the variety of other options. However, every time I was disappointed at their quality in a different way. Until I decided that’s enough and called back to complain about my order. It was definitely sub par in several ways: the quantity of the meat and chicken was less, we ordered seven meals and three appetizers and they only sent six pieces of bread and ONE small cube of cheese with a couple of olives one of them was half broken along with two wilted cilantro and basil sticks!! The veggie skewers that I paid $14 extra were to see the least a joke 7 pieces of vegetables total!

Despite all this, I called with intention to point their attention that their service needs to be improved so they can keep their loyal customers, I was polite yet obviously not a happy customer (why else would I be calling?!?) .. the server on the phone was polite and asked how can we make this better and I said well maybe you can refund a portion of the the money .. honestly I didn’t have something specific to ask for since the food was already picked up and we live like 40 minutes away so there’s no way I’m going back the same night with guests about to arrive! She said she’ll ask the manager.. I waited on the phone for about 5 minutes then the manager was put on .. she asked me what was wrong so I explained.. She was the most rude person I’ve ever seen in the business!!

I’m really disappointed at the management of this place and quality of their food and already decided never to go there or even order from them again.. I regret that I waited that long to take this step when several of my friends and other family members have warned me and come to that same conclusion months ago!!

I truly hope that they improve their service and change that manager .. especially that there are quite a few far better Persian restaurants in Atlanta.. save your self the trouble...

This was one of the most terrible dining experiences I ever had to endure!!!! In a $17 dish I had 4-5 little meat cubes, the size a bit larger than sugar cubes. When asked for the manager a gentlemen in his 50's - 60's with gray white hair came to the table and just glanced at the dish, he states the egg plant in this dish alone is $6; wow I thought it was a sweet potatoe bt only had the peel with a bit of eggplant left in it. He also adds it is normal for having only 4-5 little pieces of meat in this dish!!!! Reeeeeaaally $17!!!!!!!! Called a beef stew!!!! I am speechless of how disrespectful this man brushed all aside. When I walked out of door, the rug in front of main entrance was uneven, and partial folded upwards, which made me trip when walking out, but caught my step. He followed, while commenting, "Look at you you don't even know how to walk"!!!! Wow. Knew the old owners son Mr. Hussein, nice gent & guy, always made each customer feel special. ALL has changed, all food serving ingredients have become restricted, prices are extremely expensive, especially the main dishes, so called meat dishes. I have five more $10 certificates I won't use them ever!!!! Think they did this on purpose since I had the Gift Certificate. But it also stated to spend at least $20 dollars for it to use. This is pathetic disgusting & beyond insulting. My friend from Lebanon brought me to two different middle eastern restaurants up near Marietta, a third the price, the food is fresh nothing lame whatsoever!!! "Sufi" has become a nuisance to true craftsmanship, professionalism, quality, and true integral respect towards its customer base!!!! I will see to it that everyone will know this Restaurant main objective is only to make as much profit from each and every order as much they can get away with. Wow & super SMH!!! Unacceptable beyond. And very disrespectful. And I hardly ever write reviews not to mention negative ones!!! This time its...

My initial experience at Sufi's Kitchen was NOT supposed to receive a awesome review. However I can't take away from their delicious foodšŸ¢. I'm a true foodie and I don't lie about the taste or experience giving while dining at a restaurant. I'm Lebanese I love mediterranean food! Four years ago I move to atlanta, it has been difucult to find good Mediterranean restaurant. Ive literally tried just about all of the middle eastern restaurants in Buckhead. Last night was my first time trying Sufi's through uber eats. When my driver arrived, he brought me one piece of meat and I was advised someone else took my food and that is all the restaurant gave him to deliver to me. At this point I'm starving, pregnent šŸ¤°šŸ¼and livid😔. I called the restaurant because honestly I thought this was a bogus 🤔made up story. My card was charged and there was no foodšŸ˜’. I spoke with a server (idiot with the same stolen food story) and then requested to speak with a manager. Here is why I have a change of heartā¤ļø about Sufi's. The manager in charge literally went out of his way to remake my food and deliver the food to me in person. I must say the Chicken Soltani& Beef barg was one of the most amazing meals I've had in a long time. Listen up šŸ—£ you other restaurants need to take a notes āœšŸ¼! This is how you turn a negative situation into a positive one. I had no intention on giving them five starsāļøāļøāļøāļøāļø but because they took upon themselves apologize and correct their mistake, I must do the samešŸ‘šŸ½. Everything I put in my mouth literally melted šŸ™ŒšŸ¼and I will be back! Thank you Manager on duty, the owner should know you what a great job you have done resolving...
