This place is a bit of a hidden gem. I highly recommend bringing your dog here as it beats the chaos of Piedmont Park. The dog owners here are 99.9% of the time very mindful of their dog, any aggression seen so far has been intervened by the dog owner (this has only happened once over the two months we have been frequenting this park). There are 3 separate gated areas that you can use but almost all of the dogs frolic in the main area. There are also a considerable amount of shade on the perimeter of the park. The only two negatives I can note are that there is no running water here so bring your own, and it tends to get a little muddy in the main park area after rains. That being said the two separate smaller gated areas have a small gravel that is not harsh on your pup's paws. No mud in there. So if they re-sod the main area and at least get a hose pipe running out there, its a solid 4 barely...
