Best Thai place you’ll ever go to and an ELITE date spot. I moved to NYC about a year ago and the Prik Khing Kung from here is the only dish I can’t find a much better version of up here (outside of southern staples like bbq, Tex-Mex, soul food, obviously). Don’t know if you like Thai or want a new favorite? Go here and get the Prik Khing Kung. I’ve been here a million times and it’s always top notch, they don’t have an off night. My girlfriend is from Seoul and she’s extremely hard to please when it comes to Asian cuisine, having had some of the best, but even she loves this place.
GREAT appetizers. The Thai samosas and the beef skewer things that hang off the rail are awesome. All the dipping sauces they give you are great. They’ve got authentic, niche stuff and dishes any rookie wanting to try Thai will enjoy. Don’t worry if you can barely read the name, you’re gonna like it.
What makes this a true top of the list spot is that they make great cocktails and don’t skimp on the alcohol. Their old fashioned is as good as any I’ve had.
The price point is great for the quality. Inside it has a spacious but somehow intimate atmosphere, it’s in a nice area, the parking lot is huge with free parking, and the restaurant is always clean. It somehow has a very authentic vibe but also upscale without feeling sterile or corporate. They just made all the right choices here, it’s so rare. I sound like I’m doing a commercial, but seriously it’s that good of a place.
Service is always quick and polite. The servers know their stuff. They always gave me great recommendations (that’s how I found my favorite dishes). The vibe is always great. First date or hundredth date, this spot is not going to let you down.
What I usually got:
Drink: old fashioned
Appetizers: Thai samosas, Nuah ping (beef skewers)
Entrees: PRIK KHING KUNG (order this or you’re under arrest by my food police; it’s shrimp and green beans in this awesome savory sauce which sounds like an odd combo but order it and you will thank me) and Tom Yum Kung soup (not for the uninitiated but good if you’re really into funky Thai soups, they do it great).
Side note: I went here with a vegetarian once and they really enjoyed the stuff they got but I can’t remember what it was, so if you’re a vegetarian or your date/friend is, this place is also a winner.
This is my favorite restaurant ITP and if whenever I’m in Atlanta again, it’ll be my first stop after leaving...

If you’re looking for an authentic Thai dining experience in Atlanta, Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft is the place to be! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and the inviting ambiance. The third-floor location offers breathtaking skyline views of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta, making it the perfect spot for a date night or a special gathering with friends.
Food:
The menu is packed with bold, traditional Thai flavors, and every dish I tried was spot on. Some standouts from my visit: • Tuk Tuk Lunch Box • Nuea Ping • Thap Kai • Nuea Swan • Mieng Kham • Pad Thai Chicken • Pla Tod • Lychee Martini & Mango Mai Thai (Perfectly crafted cocktails!) • Fried Bananas with Ice Cream & Crème Brûlée (Don’t skip dessert!)
Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and true to Thai cuisine. The Pad Thai Chicken had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice, and the Pla Tod was crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. The Nuea Ping skewers were a fun presentation and packed with smoky, grilled flavor.
Service:
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure a great experience. Despite the busy evening, service was prompt, and the food came out hot and fresh.
Ambiance:
The restaurant’s decor gives off a modern yet cozy vibe, with Thai-inspired touches that make you feel like you’re dining in Bangkok. The outdoor seating is a fantastic option for enjoying the view while savoring your meal.
Final Thoughts:
Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft is Thai SELECT-certified, meaning it meets high standards of authenticity and quality—something you can definitely taste in every bite. Read moreEvery now and then you find a restaurant that blows your consumer mind. For me, it was Tuk Tuk.
My little brother picked the restaurant for my birthday dinner and I just showed up. Immediately pulling up to Tuk Tuk I was excited to see there is ample parking. After parking, we headed into the restaurant which is the start of an entire experience. The ambiance of the location is vibrant and exciting in the front near the bar with a more mellow and warm atmosphere towards the rear dining area. As you can imagine, such a setup as this makes Tuk Tuk an ideal place for any occasion.
As we were a larger party we were provided two servers. Both servers were absolutely phenomenal. Their customer service was full of energy and smiles. They were very knowledgeable of the menu and able to provide some great recommendations. They were able to be attentive to the entire table which ensured no cup was empty and no one wanted for nothing.
Upon placing our food order one of the managers came out and provided me with a silver train that matches the theme of Tuk Tuk. Talk about customer focus. This made the night even more of an experience as I had a souvenir to remember the occasion by.
Continuing with the good our food arrived. OhMyGoshhhhhhhhhhh.
The wings are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The wings have a crisp on the outside that you can hear as you bite into them. The inside is moist and meaty and the flavor profile of the wings are spot on. You are able to enjoy the natural flavor of the chicken, however the seasoning blend that is used excites your tongue and forces you to have a flavor induced moment of joy.
Partaking in everything on the table, there was nothing that caused disappointment. The food based Tuk Tuk experience is way above standard and is sure to land Tuk Tuk in your favorites collection.
Great friends. Great service. Great food. Great experience.
Also, for those who love a good selfie or usie, Tuk Tuk has the dopest waiting area and hallway which is perfect to capture...
