If I could rate this place with zero stars, I would! The whole beginning of the experience is what ruined the night for myself as well as my friends. We had dinner reservations made for 8PM. When we arrived at the restaurant, the gentleman that was seating guests had created a scene amongst my group, in front of customers that were entering and existing the establishment. I have never been more embarrassed in my entire life. We had walked from the other side of the Boardwalk on a chilly evening (about 35-40 degrees) so of course we were wearing coats/jackets. I had only packed a wind breaker jacket from Under Armor for the weekend. When we arrived at Morton's the man created a scene all because of the jacket I was wearing. He didn't bother to ask "is that a jacket you're wearing?" or something along those lines. He just automatically assumed that was my actual shirt that went against their dress code. I immediately got told "you can't wear that in here". I explained to him that it was my jacket, that I was wearing a short sleeve top underneath and that I would take it off when we were seated (since we were standing in front of doors that were connected to the Boardwalk and I was carrying a two bags and my purse). He made me take my jacket off outside in front of him to PROVE to him that what I was wearing was appropriate and followed THEIR dress code. When he told me to "remove my jacket", it confused me as well as my friends that as an automatic response we said "what, why?" since it had taken us by surprise. He turned around and said "is that going to be an issue" in regards to me taking my jacket off to again, show him the shirt that I was wearing. He then pointed to the sign that was sitting on the podium about the dress code and said how he "doesn't make the rules, I just enforce them". We were all still very confused at this point and didn't see why my jacket was such a big ordeal since it was just a jacket, not my actual outfit that I was wearing that evening. We were then told that we wouldn't be seated until I took my jacket off and showed him the shirt I was wearing. This automatically ruined the mood for myself and friends all because the host wanted to create a scene in front people who were entering and exiting the establishment. To the point, that I even saw one group of people standing nearby, pointing and laughing at us because this guy was yelling at us like an adult yelling at a group of teenagers. All he had to do was handle this in a mature manner instead of being rude and creating a scene - simply because "he can". Very unprofessional as well as unnecessary. Never again will I go back to this place - I don't care how great our waiter was or how good the food was. Especially since we spent a total of $500 for our bill (4 people in the party). All others planning to go - don't! Save yourself the headache and hassle. Or if you do, then be sure to wear "appropriate" clothing and bring a lot of...
Read moreWe initially rented the semi private room at the Atlantic City location. The deposit $500 was paid on July 9,2021. On Friday July 30, 2021 we reached out to the person handling our reservation to cancel with no response. On Sunday August 1, 2021 after calling the restaurant and asking to speak with a manager, the event coordinator finally called us back. I asked for a refund due to the fact that several people in our party contracted covid and would not be coming in to town for dinner with us. It was explained to me that the refund policy is a long and exaggerated process. I asked for the number to their corporate office because waiting 2 weeks for a refund is just plain absurd. The next day I received a text that said my refund request had been submitted. I began calling their corporate office the same day. I called for over a week and tried every single prompt and not 1 of them lead you to a live person. Ridiculous! I sent 2 emails to their account payable department that have still not been responded to. Today August 11, 2021 I reached back out to the event coordinator via text, after contacting my bank and inquiring about any pending refunds with no response. Later I called the store and asked for a district or regional manager because to me it is insane to have to hunt down a million dollar company for a refund. The manager I spoke with informed me that he had received an email and they were in fact "working on my refund" . This is a full 9 days after the refund request was supposedly submitted. Under no circumstances does it take 9 days to issue a refund. Even the slowest of outdated systems can process them faster than that. The regional manager then calls me back to say that she has moved my request to the top and it usually takes 2-3 weeks to process them. I don't know what systems they are using but they need to update them immediately. Apparently these refunds have to go through several different hands before it can be fully processed which is just absolutely ridiculous. I would never book anything with them ever again that requires a deposit. They are able to process your payment in 3 minutes and then want you to wait 3 weeks for a refund. Ridiculous. UPDATE it’s now been 2 full weeks since they told me my refund was requested and I still have not received it! I’ve disputed the charge with my credit card company! BE...

The hostess greeted us promptly and wished my husband a happy birthday. We were seated in a booth, which we tend prefer for a more intimate meal.
Our waiter, Radiostin, again welcomed us back and acknowledged my husband's birthday. They are always so thoughtful of their patrons who are celebrating an event. It's a nice touch of personalized service. It was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. He was a joy to dine with.
We started our meal with the seasonal(january) Burrata salad. It was AMAZING! The cheese was so incredibly fresh tasting and light. Paired perfectly with sliced beets and garnished with pistachios and figs. I'm still thinking about this salad as I write this. We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. The order is 3 beautifully pan seared scallops wrapped in bacon. The scallops at Morton's are my favorite thing to order! They are prefect everytime!
For dinner I had one of my favorites, the Morton's Mixed grill. This dish consists of a 6 oz filet mignon, 2 bacon wrapped scallops and 2 grilled jumbo shrimp. Again, the scallops are so delicious! The filet was the exact desired temperature and delightfully tender. My husbsnd had dry aged Kansas city strip. The strip was cooked perfectly and extremely tender. The garlic butter sauce really added a lil something extra. And of course we ordered a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Soooo yum!! We love the atmosphere of Morton's in Atlantic city. It's a really conformable intimate feeling. The staff is so attentive and welcoming. It's a...
