My card got left accidentally at the to-go register due to my card being laid on the counter instead of placed in my hand the same way that I handed it to the cashier. No big deal right? They call tell me I left it and tell me it will be left in an envelope with my name on it thought I was going to go pick it up at the same night but it was late so I go to pick it up this morning and the one white guy who was preparing pizza dough went to get another older white gentleman to help me after I explained it to him that I was just there to pick up my debit card that got left on accident. The second older white gentleman listen to me tell him that I'm just there to pick up my debit card and that I was told it would be left in an envelope he takes the tray out of the cash drawer to look underneath and he says there it is and grabs it and then throws it across the counter at me as if we know each other and I had wronged him in some sort of way. And no he did not slide it across the counter he tossed it so hard that the card cartwheeled all the way to the other side where I was standing. I know it's early in the morning at only 9:00 a.m. but that's still no excuse to treat someone in that way because you're pissed off that you have to be at work. I've never had any issues if any of the wait staff there whether I was eating in or taking out. But that guy shouldn't have any contact with any customer if he's going to subject customers to that type of rude behavior. And even with him behaving in such a rude way I STILL just grabbed my card and said thank you have a wonderful rest of your day....
Read moreIts truly heartbreaking that after growing up in AC so long and not wanting to go so far i can't feel comfortable at the bar across the street from me because they always act like im not there when i sit at the bar, i order the same thing at least once a week, recently they messed the order up and blamed it on me (sometimes they get it right no problem) , i drink here once a week for the past 2 years and they continue to ID me every time. I have never seen a group of bartenders collectively not acknowledge that i have come here so many times and still find it necessary to ID me.
Recently i got take out through doordash and ordered the same thing ive always ordered. A wheat sub. Apparently they didnt have wheat subs. So they put it on two pieces of toast. Why wouldnt you just put it on a white sub? Make it make sense. The casher lady said i ordered it wrong then changes to saying they dont have that bread. Which one is it? Plus why is it an option on your third party system if its not available.
Everytime i come in its like they are refusing to give me good service when all i do is come in as a colored man and willing to spend my money there. So which one of those two is the real issue? This is jersey take that racist preconceived notions to...
Read moreI tried to order online with my card and that didn’t work (said payment not accepted)so i called in for delivery and ordered 2 pizzas, a cheese platter, and fried mushrooms. When i received my order we got the two pizzas but got fries instead of the cheese platter and the mushrooms. I had my dad call to notify them on the mistake and they told him they would deliver the right food, after waiting for a half an hour he recalled and they said it should be on their way. We ended up waiting for 30 more minutes until he called back and they said they would figure it out and call right back, we waited 45 MORE minutes for a call that we never received. Once we ended up calling AGAIN my dad just stated that we didn’t care about the food anymore and just wanted the refund on the messed up items (not even a full refund) they said that they couldn’t do that. My dad was just trying to get our 16$ back and she said “if you care SO MUCH about your 16$….” which was incredibly rude especially because of the situation and 16$ is not only a lot of money but is MY money. Then she hung up on him which happened MANY TIMES BTW. Honestly I really wanted to love this place but the customer service and the lack of even caring...
