First, I'll say we choose Arby's due to dietary restrictions for a family member. Second, I don't live in Auburn, I have to drive there. Third, prior to being able to order, you have to choose either, "Drive Thru Pick-up, or Inside Pick-up". On Tuesday, 10-3-23, I was told that I have to go inside to get any mobile order if the dining room is open. I usually get "fast food" if we have worked hard & late. The last thing I want to do is go inside for the order. Online ordering is a convenience that is supposed to alleviate going inside an establishment to order & make purchases. Most places charge extra for the convenience, whether posted or not. Even COSTCO posts, "item may be offered in warehouse at a lower price". We have a choice how to get a product. Since COVID-19 many places have options; go inside, drive thru, curbside pickup, or delivery. The latter the highest cost, not an option for the majority. This Arby's is no convenience for ordering for those who don't want to go inside, or wait until the dining room is closed. This can be a major issue for anyone with a disability. I have rheumatoid arthritis, am disabled & walk with a cane. If I go alone to get food for the family, I would not choose Arby's. Carrying a bag or two & a container of drinks, while trying to walk with a cane is tricky. This Arby's doesn't have easy access to their dining room. The double set of doors open manually only. There is NO button for easier access for the disabled. If I were wheelchair bound going inside would be virtually impossible. If no one was around to offer assistance, a wheelchair bound patron could get injured by the heavy double set of doors. I speak from experience, as even just with a cane, I had issues getting through both sets of doors. In 2018, prior to getting their app, with just a moderate amount of eastward blowing wind & rain, made it too difficult to get inside. I ended up leaving, nearly soaked, pinched finger tips that bruised, and no food. Putting in designated Disabled Parking spaces does not mean that your establishment is Disabled Accessible! I will also add that from experiences, their employees & "managers" are not always the nicest or most accommodating. Questions and issues are not welcome, problems even less. Examples: several times I placed an online order, arrived to pickup, only to be told expensive ""featured product" sold out, and/or "we're out of Roast Beef"(way before 7PM?)?? Seriously, you're whole restaurant chain is centered around ROAST BEEF!? The app never indicated that roast beef items weren't available. After happening four times, I reported the problems to corporate. I was told I would get a "card" in the mail, never received anything. I called her back as requested, she wanted confirmation of receipt, left message, she never called back. Seems corporate is the top policy example for the franchise employees. Finally food review; my Regular Roast Beef sandwich had a larger bun and way less meat. There might have been 1oz of beef. Half of 1, had 2 measly layers of the thin roast beef, that were a full inch from the edge of the bun. The dogs got ½ of the bun. If I go back, I'll take pictures from...
Read moreI just went through the drive thru and will not be back. Not only was the employee who took my order rude but so was the the manager. I asked the employee taking my order a question about a menu item. I wanted to know the price. She responded very short and seemed annoyed. I thanked her for answering my question and proceeded with placing my order. She told me that she was having a hard time hearing me so I spoke a little louder. She again said in a rude tone that she was having a hard time hearing me. I told her that I could not speak up any louder without yelling and sounding rude. I could tell by the tone in her voice that she was annoyed. She again stated that she could not hear me, I then proceeded to yell my order in the speaker. I was greeted by a manager at the window when I went to pay. She was very short and rude to me. I tried explaining what had happened as I personally thought the employee taking my order was rude. I also wanted to apologize for yelling in the speaker and if I came across as being rude. She would not listen and assumed I was being rude and just yelled at “her girl”. No, I did not want to yell and if you heard the whole conversation through the headset you would have heard me saying if I raised my voice any louder it would be yelling and I did not want to come off as being rude however she kept telling me she couldn’t hear me so I felt like I had no choice but to yell Into the speaker. Do not make me feel like I did something wrong when your “girl” was short and rude through the speaker. I will not be returning to this Arby’s again. If this ever happens again, I will be driving to the window to place my order to avoid this whole situation. Again, I was not trying to be rude nor did I purposely yell at this employee. I had no other choice but to yell as she kept telling me she could...
Read moreKitchen needs to not run so fast. I ordered a beef n cheddar add leaf lettuce, add tomato. In less than a minute, received my food. I ordered my food to go but decided to stay in, as I don't like the fact of wasting a clean dish. Anyways, I open my beef and cheddar and it was a complete disaster, with their shredded lettuce, and an over excess of beef. I tell the assistant manager ( that's what the name tag said) and she just throws it away and goes back to the drive through. Then after about a minute, after she asked me what was wrong, she tells the kitchen about my food being made wrong. I heard the kitchen yell for shredded lettuce, so in my head I know that they were out. Meaning they knew they were out and didn't want to take five secs to ask for lettuce. I was once a manager for Arby's, they have a slogan called cook less more often. This store is going out dry chicken and cold beef, quite frankly I'm glad my cheese was warm. Half of the red ranch was on my wrapper. Chicken was dry. Lobby was a disaster. I just watched as a worker wiped down tables and yet some are still dirty. Fast isn't Arby's motto, they have their meats and their quality of food is supposed to be superb. This store clearly doesn't care in the quality of their food. The tables have dust and hairs stuck to the legs, I see literal...
