This was by far the worst location I’ve ever been to. Instead of properly communicating that they were out of the necessary ingredients to make my drink correctly, the staff went ahead and made it anyway, knowing it wasn’t right. When I pointed out that the drink was made incorrectly, Garrett acted indifferent and asked how it was wrong, as if he didn’t already know. I explained what was missing, and he casually responded, “Oh yeah, we’re out of that.”
When I asked why he didn’t notify me that the drink couldn’t be made properly or offer me the option to order something else, he looked annoyed and dismissively said, “I just make the drinks,” completely dodging my question. I then asked to speak with his manager, and Shelby, the lead, took over. When I told her I wanted to make a complaint, she aggressively asked, “And why do you want to make a complaint? My employee did nothing wrong.” This approach from someone in a lead position did nothing to de-escalate the situation but added fire to it as ultimately, her employee was in the wrong for not communicating properly with the customer.
I explained again that Garrett’s customer service was unacceptable and that communicating with customers about missing ingredients is part of his role. Instead of addressing the issue, Shelby continued to defend him, insisting he did nothing wrong, while dismissing my concerns as if I was being unreasonable for expecting to get what I paid for or at least be told it wasn’t available.
The unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service at this location were shocking. As someone who visits Starbucks almost four times a week, I’ve never encountered such rude employees with such a careless attitude toward their job. It’s disappointing to see this level of service from a brand I usually rely on.
Reading the reviews it looks like this location has been problematic for a while now and Starbucks haven’t made the necessary adjustments at this location to ensure costumers are provided great customer service and given respect when coming to this location. This is extremely...
Read moreIt is like most other Starbucks. Staff are friendly and my drinks are made correctly every time. Dining room and restrooms are always clean when i visit. The two stars off is mainly a comment about how wierd the parking for dine in and the drive -thru is set up for this store. After you exit the drive-thru, you have to circle the front of rhe building to exit the parking lot, and will drive right into whatever cars that are coming in to park for dining in. There are "angled" parking spots, about. 7 of them to the side of the building, but in order to park correctly without some extra manouvering is to get in line in drive thru to park to dine in. Parking is shared with other businesses on the strip mall so it is almost always full. So, if you make the mistake of pulling in to park and there is no parking, you have no choice but to back out ( while dealing with oncoming drive thru cars also trying to leave the. lot aso). My advice: pay attention to open spots BEFORE you pull into the lot if you plan to dine in. If not, just go through drive-thru only at...
Read moreI come to this store on my way to work about 3-4 times a week. I typically use the drive thru and am always happy with the service. Today when I arrived, the property manager had the parking lot closed for resurfacing. The team had someone standing in front of the parking lot directing people where to park, offering them assistance with doing a mobile order and then offering to run inside and bring it to them. I was so shocked to see such a high level of customer service. The shutdown of the parking lot was out of their control, but they stepped up to continue to make the service as enjoyable as possible. Huge shoutout to Jack. She was the all-star who was outside and running orders out to those in their car. She is always super friendly and remembers your order. Jack was engaging, friendly, and literally running to get people's orders. What a great ambassador of the brand. She and her team are the reason I continue to come back. Starbucks coffee is good but in the Seattle area, there are many options. I will come back because of...
