Domellie's American Steakhouse — Restaurant in Aurora Township

We went to Domellies and had an excellent meal with my wife and daughter. We were welcomed and seated by Jenna who was the hostess who always had a smile. Then our server who was smiling and was a pleasant young lady took care of us for the evening. We each tried something different. My wife had top sirloin with a huge baked potato. My daughter had rosemary chicken with mashed potatoes. I had the Parmesan crusted walleye with the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. We also had two appetizers. Even though we had plenty to eat, we got two deserts because they looked and tasted delicious. Our first time trying Domellie’s was their opening weekend and WOW were we blown away by the food! The prime rib appetizer was so delicious, and the fillet medallions course with pan fried potatoes was cooked to absolute perfection! Also to note was the staff - we were greeted by an incredibly kind young man at the Host table that set the tone. Our waitress was very personable, attentive and provided excellent service as well. Chef Matt even made it out of the kitchen to chat with us about our meal which we loved! We took cheesecake desserts to-go and those were also tasty! The buzz around this business lived up to the hype! I enjoyed the 12 oz Ribeye medium rare (cooked to perfection) with a side of Domellie's Medley (WOW!), and green beans (delicious!).
