If I could leave zero stars, I would.
Be careful when you purchase a warranty through this dealership - they won't honor it.
My 2020 Wrangler has a horrendous tick coming from the rocker arms, and has quite a few lights on the dash for Service 4WD, Swaybar Disconnect Unavailable, Cruise Control Unavailable, and Park Sense Unavailable.
We dropped the Jeep off on April 12th and it was scheduled for the 17th (we live quite a ways out of town so this was the most convenient for us).
When we got there, the lights mentioned were on and I told the service advisor that before this gets shut off, you need to grab the codes because once it cycles there's no telling when they'll come back on. It's completely random. So he took a video of the lights since they cycle through so they know exactly which ones are on.
We were informed that because Jeeps are "a whole different language" that they'll be contracting this job out to Einspahr.
Wednesday comes and goes. Thursday comes and goes. Finally, on Friday the 19th WE call them to find out what's going on.
We were told by the service advisor at Einspahr that he "couldn't hear anything ticking" (if I could post a video here, you'd instantly know this was a lie). And that he had no idea it was for the rocker arms nor did he know about the lights on the dash. He was just told that there was 'a tick'. But they'll continue to "test drive" the Jeep to now try to get the lights to turn on.
Apparently AFTER we called, the video was sent to him. This is now a full week that this info hasn't been passed on.
We also informed him that we had found someone else who had the same lights turn on and it turned out to be the transfer case switch was bad.
He said they would check for corrosion because that's likely the issue. Ok, go ahead. Wiring diagrams from all systems point to the transfer case switch being the issue, but by all means.
Monday the 22nd comes around. We get a phone call and they haven't "gotten a chance to look for corrosion and they still can't hear a tick" but they keep test driving for the lights and they haven't come back on.
But they can't start tearing everything apart because they need concrete evidence that it's the rocker arms causing the 'tick' that they somehow can't hear.
By Tuesday, we told them that if all they're going to do is drive it and not actually work on it to try to figure out the source of these issues, we're taking it somewhere else.
Picked up the Jeep that evening. With NOTHING done on their part.
This place is an absolute JOKE. Communication was horrible through this entire process between, and with, both...

I purchased a used vehicle "as is" they had listed for 9,995. Everything seemed ok on the test drive, so I went ahead and purchased it. Two miles into driving it now that I owned it the transmission was shifting very hard and making a clunking sound. I turned around and went back to the dealership. The sales rep took it for a drive to me, and I showed him this hard shifting and clunking. He was very dismissive, but I took his word that everything was ok with it.
I headed back down the interstate toward home. I live about 430 miles away. The vehicle made it about 350 miles before the service engine light came on. I pulled over and turned the vehicle off. My code reader indicated a problem with the transmission. It came on after the first time I had shut off the engine, besides the short test drive. It came on the first time after driving more than a few miles and turning it off. Basically, the first time it ran diagnostics after running a while.
I did some research on the side of the road interstate. I come to find out the transmission fluid, and antifreeze are mixing together as indicated by finding a "milkshake" looking substance on the radiator cap. Driving the vehicle any further will lead to comeplete transmission failure. I had the vehicle towed to a local repair shop where I was quoted 10,830 in repairs needing immediate attention. It was too late to save the transmission apparently. The fact that it was clunking two miles after owning the vehicle suggests it was too late when I drove it off their lot. I would guess they reset the service engline light. I find it next to impossible to believe this wasn't an issue until I drove it for two miles. The chances that their own service department missed this issue are slim when this seems to be a very well known issue with these vehicles in their industry.
I am convinced they knowingly sold me a vehicle they knew was on the brink of capastrophic failure.
I waited to post this because I assumed based on other reviews that they were a reputable business that would at least help with cost of repairs. They finally got back to me after 5 days of being without a vehicle. They will not be helping me out at all with the cost of repairs. Not a dime.
I was straight up lied to by their salesman about the condition of this vehicle prior to purchase.

Read moreMy experience with Brookings Auto Mall was mixed in my situation. When I asked people about their experience and looked online, I heard and read Brookings Auto Mall normally does a good job. My situation may just be an odd situation compared to others. • January 13 Friday, they offered to take care of a check engine light. • On January 14 Saturday, I noticed they misspelled my name twice in the information. I asked them to fix it and they said they would fix it. This comes back later in my review during the auto loan. • January 16 Monday and 17 Tuesday, I was keeping updated talking to dealership and was told Wednesday the 18th was looking like the day I would get the car. • January 18, 20 minutes before I was going to go pickup the car was told they were waiting on ball joint parts. • Between the 18th and 20th tried keeping touch with them to keep updates on the ball joints but didn’t get clear answers about when the parts were going to arrive and timeline. • January 20 Friday had to walk in and ask in person for update and was told about a steering gear issue that was never brought up prior to when I walked in. • January 23 Monday got a loaner from them while waiting for the steering gear. The loaner had less than a ¼ tank of gas in it. Thankfully I only had for 1 day but would’ve been more annoying if I had it longer. Found out the steering gear they ordered was bad but they had a good one already so that was fine. • January 24 Tuesday, the loaner was not starting properly when I was going to work. Thankfully it did start, and I made it to work. • January 25 Wednesday, finally got the car thankfully :) • When I was talking to the bank about getting access to be able to make my loan payments for the future, I learned my name and email were misspelled still from January 13. Thankfully after a half hour phone call it was sorted out. To conclude my review, from talking to others Brookings Auto Mall and looking at reviews online to see other people’s experiences, They normally seem to do very good service. I think my situation was just an oddball situation (Probably because it started on Friday the 13th). Also Brookings Auto Mall, do not respond to this if it's your usual copy and...
