Went in on 10-10-2024 at 6:50 pm. The food was terrible. The burrito had hardly any meat. When I went to the counter to ask about the amount of meat, the lady that tried to help me said she would remake the burrito and that she couldn't take the one in my hands back. At that same time a guy (I didnt catch his name but he was clearly in a fight and had his face beat up) was very rude about the situation and said "well that is a scoop of meat, thats what you paid for" I said look how much meat is in it, it is just sauce and barely any meat with a few shreds of cheese. He grabbed the burrito from my hands while rudely trying to intimidate me by staring at me like he was mad and saying he'd put more meat this time, but next time, I'll have to pay. After the other lady said she couldn't take the burrito back from me, I guess he was too mad about the meat situation to make a new burrito like the lady was going to? Then, when I opened my Mexican pizza and saw it and then how it was cold, I just threw it away. It was pathetic and cold, half the pizza was missing sauce, and half the pizza inside was missing meat (go figure 🙄), not to mention how it was broken when I opened the lid. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this location to anyone. After reading the reviews, I see I'm not the only one with problems here. I know Taco Bell usually isn't the best, but this is the worst location i been to, and I'm from California. What a waste of money and definitely should hire people with better customer service. But then again, after reading the reviews here, my experience is normal for this Brookings...
Read moreAbsolute dumpster fire of a taco bell. Was amazing when they first opened and the couple years that followed. However this past year has been an absolute mess. Went through the drive thru and ordered a couple tacos only to open the bag and find a tiny bit of meat and cheese rolled up into a cigar shaped taco lol. I went back and told them my order got messed up then politely asked if they could correct it. The guy working the window snapped at me and told me to prove it, so I presented the tacos. The cook who made it came over and looked at them then took off his hat and through it on the ground and walked away. The inside of the building was absolutely disgusting, trash all over the kitchen floor and lobby floor. The female manager said that I just ordered plain tacos not supreme tacos. I presented my recipe showing otherwise. The drive thru kid yelled something about $24 then slammed his hand on the counter. Then a very polite gentleman who was quite the entire time presented me with my food and apologized. I thanked him and left. He literally looked like a high school kid who hated being there but was very kind lol. Needless to say I will never return. Taco johns is better anyway. I only stopped there because I has just gone to the store and it was more convenient. Next time I'll just hit up tj's. Avoid this place. The food is typical, the portions are skimped, and the price isn't that much cheaper than any other place these days. Plus the inside is literally disgusting and very dirty. I feel like if more people saw how dirty it is kept they would avoid it...
Read moreI love Taco Bell, however the way an employee was treating the new girl was just unacceptable! The nice lady at the register was helping me and my friends, and I just asked her if I could get my tacos regular and not supreme. She was obviously new, so she asked a co-worker simply how to get it to regular instead of supreme. Alanis, the co-worker she asked, stomped over huffing and puffing, pushed her out of the way and fixed it. Then when she was walking away said “that’s why you ask BEFORE you hit the button”, it wasn’t her fault I didn’t ask for regular tacos right away. Just to clarify it was the rudest way someone could have “gave advice” to a co-worker. Along with that the way Alanis called out our names to get our food, seemed like it was inconvenient for her to do her job. The rest of the time me and my friends were at this location, Alanis continued to put down the lady at the register for asking questions, but because she was asking questions to learn, so that she doesn’t hit the wrong button. I feel sorry for the nice lady that was at the register. I feel sorry that she must work in an environment where she was treated like she is stupid and an inconvenience. That is just unacceptable. I can honestly say that I would rather go to Taco Johns then support a restaurant that lets their employees treat other employees in front...
