Me and my husband went in yesterday around 4:45pm to get some dinner bc it was close and some subs sounded great. The two workers one male and one female even tho no one was in the store besides us treated us poorly as well as being rude about the questions i had asked. I have never been to a JJs and we did not take long to order having previewed the menu online. I asked the female worker if the turkey they had was lunchmeat or if it was actual turkey and she was confused by the question but said that it was fresh turkey breast so i ordered a LuLu club combo bc it was not lunchmeat (i am not a fan of turkey lunch meat which i had stated to them when taking my order so i wanted to make sure it wasnt) and my husband ordered Beach club combo. They just handed us our sandwiches and started to ignore us. We went ahead and grabbed our own drink cups confused and then i realized we did not get the side item. I had looked online at the menu and it said combos came with either a pickle or a bag of chips. I asked the female worker about getting a pickle and she said just to grab a pack of chips from the front counter and said something about the pickle i did not understand and walked away with a mumbled sort of "apology". I wanted the pickle because i love them but they couldn't be bothered to pay attention to us as they were filling some kind of boxes on a table in the lobby so they were too busy to care is the way I perceived their attitudes to be. The sandwich i had ordered which was supposed to come with the turkey breast had lunch meat on it as well so i was very dissatisfied with my meal and overall experience. i did not come in with any sort of hostility or rudeness and i tried my best to be nice to them as maybe they were having an off night but having my order wrong tipped me over the edge as i don't feel i deserved the service...
Read moreI visited Jimmy John’s today to pick up an order. While my food was ready, the employee at the counter, a white man with long hair, never called my name or let me know it was ready. At first, I assumed he might be busy, so I waited. However, I noticed another delivery driver arrive after me, and their order was also ready, but the same employee ignored them too.
When the driver asked about their order, the employee’s tone and attitude were extremely unprofessional and disappointing. First of all, when customers or drivers enter the store, employees should greet them and ask, “How can I help you?” or “What do you need?” This simple gesture would improve communication and service.
Additionally, helping delivery drivers quickly is just as important as helping customers. Drivers are on a schedule, and ensuring they get their orders promptly means the food stays fresh and doesn’t arrive cold. Ignoring drivers not only affects their efficiency but also impacts the customers waiting for their food.
It felt like both customers and drivers were being pushed aside, which is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and trains staff to provide better service for everyone...
Read moreThe Epitome of disappointment. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I honestly don’t know why I continue to patronize this Jimmy John’s. I’m sympathetic to the current state that we are in. I understand staffing shortages and how hard it is to get and keep good employees but over the last two years how much disappointment can one person take. I’m talking taking an hour and 45 minutes to deliver a sandwich 1 mile a way. I’m talking forgetting my straw and napkins 40% of the time. Getting a sandwich that is so soggy you can’t even pick it up. I have Type 1 Diabetes and I just had to dump my large soda because I got Dr. Pepper instead of Diet Coke Awesome. If your looking for a more quality Jimmy Johns head down to Quincy and Buckley you’ll probably be able to pick up your sandwich and drive back before you’ll get your delivery from this store. If you looking to experience a quality sandwich look somewhere else this store is so disappointing. I can forgive the long wait times but consistently forgetting items and delivering the wrong items like a full sugar soda to a Diabetic is unacceptable. AVOID...
