McDonald's — Restaurant in Aurora

This review is basically for the very kind lady that works Early Mornings at this location. Her name is Alma. Each time I've gone thru the drive thru of this location, Alma has been there, bright & early with a friendly good morning. Alma has the most gracious smile & is always pleasant. Alma is thorough when taking my order, as she more than likely is with others because there's never much of a wait. She keeps us movin knowing we too are probably headed to work. I appreciate her efforts in giving great customer service each morning no matter how short staffed they may be. I say that because most places nowadays offer the most disappointing excuse for bad customer service... They always say *we're short staffed"... Reality is we're all short staffed but it doesn't mean that those of us who are at work cant be our best selves while there.. especially when working with the public. Now I know that the public can be annoying sometimes but with Ms Alma at this location, nobody should be annoyed. McDonald's corp. Ms Alma deserves some type of customer service award because she is truly a great asset to this location. We easily complain but today this is a huge compliment. Oh and Lastly, Alma makes the absolute best Carmel Frappes... They actually look better than the pictures. Thank you Alma for great customer service... Thank you for Consistently great customer service... You do it well and Im lovin it!!! Just picked up a Carmel Frappe.... Looks like a work of...

Angie Sanchez is the worst Store Manger anyone can have, terrible leader and just bad at her job. Bugs all over on the wall of the soda machines, disgusting aboustly terrible. And anyone planning to work there, I recommend you not to, She will take your hours away that you have worked and also punch you out so you'll be basically working for free. She treats her employees horrible and talks behide everyone's back, this place insititionlizes their employees and Angie hardly works or closes and she expects too much from someone who gets pay to little. She never wants to be the one getting her hands dirty, she doesn't deserve this position and so doesn't think the supervisor who's keeping her. Make her close for once for just fire her. She takes advantage of everyone who works there and she has employees under the age of 17 closing and cleaning the grill super dangerous and unacceptable. She's unconsiderated and does not deserve this position. Rumors about her and sexually harassing her employees, yes she is lesbian and I have nothing against her, but there is boundaries. What a disgrace. Just ask her employees how terrible they get treated and you will hear it from everyone else....

This location is so convenient however this might be the last time we visit. I've never been inside (except to correct an order) and in the drive-thru, they refuse to provide a receipt upon payment, you must ask at the food window (and even there it's hit-or-miss, probably because they know that people would be filling out horrible surveys). They usually request that you pull forward for seemingly no reason because when you get your food, it's barely hot (I expect it to be steaming hot if I have to pull forward). Most of the employees are extremely rude - even when you know what it's like to work in food and/or customer service positions. They don't even give you a chance. They rarely get our order correct and even when it is correct, the food is not usually very fresh or it's just been slopped together, usually with an unnecessary amount of salt added. I know this is just horrible junk food, but I expect to at least get what I ordered (and paid for, when applicable, unless they don't even get my order right and just gave me something else) and eat something fairly freshly cooked and hot. Other locations seem to do this without trouble and without so much animosity...
