We went in to sell estate jewelry. Worked initially with Steve who was very helpful, he put us at ease about selling our family pieces. He directed another salesperson to help select a neckless to accompany a piece we wanted to keep. He explained how heavy it needed to be, apparently, she did not listen and recommended a neckless that ultimately Steve suggested would not work. A new one was selected which was almost $600 more than the original item she showed us. Steve then told us he would hold the estate items we were selling until we returned to pick up a diamond we were keeping and purchase the neckless. He directed the salesperson to map the diamond with us so we would be assured it was the same one we would pick up the next week. He stated he would cut a check but if we changed our minds, he would cut us a new check, he shared he was going on vacation and there could be a delay, which we did not object too. After leaving and speaking further with family, 1 item was requested to be kept. Upon returning to the shop to pick up a neckless and diamond the same salesperson handed me the neckless with the diamond and asked if I wanted a box, I said yes and that I would like to try it on. She got a box and said, "looks like you paid with scraps, thank you." She then proceeded to turn around; she did not offer to map the diamond again to provide additional assurance it was the original one. We had to explain to her that we had not yet received a payment for the jewelry and that we wanted 1 of the pieces back. She stated "well... I will tell him, but he is on vacation, and you should know it's probably melted down". At this point she did not offer any other solution, handed me the box, the check for the jewelry, turned to her co-worker. We were a bit stunned but took the check, we have not cashed it but if it has already been melted down nothing can be done. We are writing this review because it has been upsetting to think that potentially the jewelry had been melted down before we were paid. We will await a response when Steve returns from vacation but disappointed in the lack of care from the associate or the desire to provide reassurance or empathy in...

They are truly the best out there. Quality and decent prices. They work with you, they listen to your concerns, they do their best to please you. Leanne helped me to customize my ring along with their awesome jewler who is a nice guy and he knows his stuff, he works with you and to me he is the best because he customized my ring which is exactly what I wanted and I love it! Leanne is knowledgeable, she has great ideas, very good taste and I would trust her completely in choosing my jewlery pieces. She is very nice and pleasant, she helped choose some others needed items and I will for sure go to them whenever I need any piece of jewelry. They are not expensive either, like I said before, and I can compare to many other places because I've checked lots of them before coming here. Timewise, also the best. All the places were telling me it will take like a month or so ( I needed fast since I am going on a trip) and it was done in time for me to also wear it and see how it feels before I leave which is great. So thank you so much!!! This is probably the second review I write in my life and the reason why is because, if you are looking for something that you want to buy for a lifetime (wedding rings, engagement rings), things you will cherish, I would like you to know, that they will help you to find exactly what you are looking for without pushing to buy the most expensive. They will show you what you want to see not what they might need to sell.....the best! You will find what you are looking for, I did! My ring is gorgeous!!! Service.....5 shinning stars 😊❤...

I HIGHLY recommend Matthew Erickson for those looking for an Engagement ring...I did the routine of looking around the standard "chain" stores, ones in malls, etc, and although I didnt have terrible experiences at those places, Matthew Erickson was clearly the better choice.

The more time I spent there shopping for my soon to be fiance's engagement ring, the more obvious it was. The knowledge and dynamic between Steve, Judy, Kim is a gem in itself, and the end result was me being SO happy and excited about my "most important purchase" (when before, all I felt was nervous). There was a fourth employee there on one of the days I went in, and she seemed extremely knowledgeable and I trust her opinion as well. Just confirms how great this place is!

I went in knowing the very basics...not really anything in particular I was going for, and the team made a collective effort to guide me, without feeling pressured at all. I narrowed down to a beautiful mount and found the absolute perfect centerpiece diamond to place in it. They were so helpful every step of the process and respected my budget, no question. This has so much more meaning to me now than buying a pre-set ring from a chain store...I would bring all of my "soon to pop the question" friends here if I could. Drove from Wisconsin and it was well worth it!!
