I go here for beef bulgogi bibimbap take out on my lunch break. Veggies are authentic and delicious, love that they have oeong jorim (burdock root) in the dish and good kimchi too. Egg is over easy with a runny yolk as it should be...IF you can get your order. So flavor is great, but service sadly is hit or miss. Once watched my take out be snatched by someone in a rush ahead of me and I was given theirs I guess. It was good but not what I wanted. 60% of the time when I call to place my order the phone is busy - as in constantly, as if someone is chatting away for 20-30min straight or just left the phone off the hook so they don't have to answer. I know, I could order online but it takes longer to process and there is a $1.50 service fee which I would rather give as tip to the business, not the web host. This last time the rice was in a pool of water because upon pick up, the woman on the register was having a conversation with someone while I waited patiently to be acknowledged. Whether it was business related or personal, I couldn't tell you, but no transaction was happening any time soon. After around 10 min of standing there, hunting hopelessly for eye contact, my lunch break fleeting, a cook who was busy came to my rescue. Thank you, person who stopped their duties to take care of "not their job" since the cashier lacked the wherewithal to pause 20 seconds to take some cash and hand over a bag. Let's say perhaps the woman engaging the cashier in convo was curious about catering or something important; give an email address for questions and quotes and move on. Or just excuse yourself for a moment, ask them to move over, prioritize the quick transaction, and resume convo. My lunch was soggy and cold since the steam from the hot egg and beef condensed on the underside of the lid and then returned to the bottom of the container because it was waiting there too long. Please be more efficient and observational and your patrons will thank you. Meanwhile I'm still on the fence if this lunch spot remains on my roster.

Food quality has plummeted almost as fast as the service quality has.

I used to order the bulgogi bowl with an extra egg and extra sauce. Some of the best bulgogi I've ever had but in the last 2 years just about everything likeable is gone.

The meat is insanely dry. It used to include mixed veggies and now it has like 3 green onions slices.

I used to call in to place my orders and the service was awesome! I'd come in and the person working the counter was extremely nice. Now you aren't allowed to call in and you have to order online and pay a convenience fee for the inconvenience.

The sauces are the only redeeming quality and they use so much mayo I feel like that's the only flavor I taste if I get a bite of everything.

It's so disappointing that a restaurant that I looked so forward to and would order on a weekly basis for 3 years is now at a place that I don't think I'll ever want to go back. I hope whatever has happened in the last 5 years gets reversed.

I do not recommend this place in Austin when there's so much better Korean food options. (Especially when you're paying nearly $20 minimum...

Had a very bad experience here. I haven’t experienced such rude service before. Ordered food on Google map and multiple clerks checked the order with me in an impolite way. I answered those questions. At last when my food is ready, an old Korean man said “Can you show me your order again”, there is no “please”, no “sorry”, no “thank you” in his words. He just required me to show my app to him, scroll through the information, and asked me why I don’t even have a doordash app on my phone in an infriendly tone. When I explained the order again and finally went out, I heard he said to other people “It’s a weird order” in ridiculous tone. And still, there is no “thank you” from him through the whole conversation. It’s the restaurant who had to know clear about what options it provided for customers to place an order. This experience really ruined my mood and made me have a very bad impression on clerks at kbop(definitely not all). I don’t want to say but I think it’s racist. Cuz he treated so differently to customers in other races. Although heself...
