Miranda’s Cafe is the definition of a hidden GEM! I made my first (of many future) visits while attending SXSW spring of 2022. This quant little cafe is tucked away inside your average looking office building and is 100% worth the morning stop! I ordered the Roma Avocado Toast and the Bacon & Berry Jam biscuit! Oh my goodness! Both items were AMAZINGLY delicious! I’m a huge fan of breakfast and it’s the meal I am most particular about since it starts my day off. I also ordered the largest caramel macchiato they had and sat down to enjoy my breakfast. Miranda’s Cafe has ample room to sit and enjoy some quiet time before a busy day, or a peaceful lunch during a crazy one. Now for MY most important factor when eating out, COST! Miranda’s Cafe is right up my alley with being very cost efficient. I live a “5 star rating, 1 dollar sign cost” lifestyle, and Miranda’s is precisely that. On my visit I was lucky enough to have Miranda, Jose, and Greg serve me. I also learned Miranda’s Cafe opened in 2020, yes THE 2020. So like all of your local restaurants, they are trying their best to make it through to the other side and become a lifelong success. Next time you need a quick delicious bite in downtown Austin, make the stop at Miranda’s Cafe. Great service, great environment, and great FOOD!

Among all the options downtown, this is one of my usual go to places. I mostly go for breakfast/brunch and love the tacos and the southwest bowl, or the toast with avocado and bacon. The Caesar wrap is also a winner. Last time I was feeling like something different and 'adventurous' so I try the chicken tikka masala and I was actually surprised. I didn't expect it to taste so good!!! Full of flavour and a hearty meal. Food aside, I really like the staff as they always have me laughing. Mon and Pepis are always up for a good chat and an easy laugh. Miranda's is always clean, with food and drinks always coming out quickly, especially when I am on the run. Finally, I'm a black coffee person but I do love their cold mint mocchas Definitely recommend!

While looking around our hotel JW Marriott for breakfast, we were glad we found this cozy place for breakfast during our time at the SXSW event. The location is very close to our hotel. The toasted sandwich is really good, warm and freshly toasted, especially in the morning where the temperature is on the low side. For the sandwich you can choose up to three ingredients to your liking and they have a great variety of selection. The Texas toast is really good with the ham and egg. The service is good and staff members Jose, Monica and Jessica are really welcoming. we truly enjoyed our time there and went there for breakfast for most of our morning during our stay.

This cafe is in the lobby of an office building. I chose it for its location near my hotel and the favorable ratings. The menu displayed behind the counter doesn’t include all the options; I’m not sure where you’re supposed to find the prices for the salad bar or soup. I ordered the turkey and brie panini and it was delicious. I thought the prices were reasonable and the quality of the food good, although the service was a bit on the slow side considering they were not very busy. I guess it’s because they make everything to order. The dining area was Spartan, but clean, mostly filled with business people on their lunch break. If I worked in the area, I would certainly consider coming...
