Unfortunately I live around the area and this is the most convenient Starbucks for me so I have been many times. Sometimes they will get my order right and other times not. For some reason it is hard to get down a peppermint white chocolate mocha. My biggest issue here is the overdone drive thru customer service. I am looking for a quick drive thru experience, I just want my coffee and to be in and out hence I go through the drive thru. Instead the staff "small talk" is questioning you about your personal life, asking what I am doing today and where I work to name a few. These are questions I feel are a bit too personal for a small talk conversation. Not to mention alarming that they cannot real social cues that I was very uncomfortable and persist with the questions that have absolutely nothing to do with me getting my coffee making the whole interaction feel very forced and inorganic. They ask these questions all the while sticking half their bodies out the window. Went so far as to interrupt the conversation I was having with people in the car... that did not include them. I don't appreciate that especially with COVID-19 still lingering around. They need to learn boundaries and social cues. Also when I go get coffee I am not looking for a forced friendship. Latest experience ruined my day. Had to share in case people feel the way I do. Steer clear of this Starbucks if you do not want to be interrogated at the drive thru about your...
Read moreI just ordered a mobile order, like I do every morning at this location. For the first time ever, when I placed the order the wait time said (27-31 minutes), its usually (5-7 min). My first thought is that it was an app glitch but I thought to ask because if they did have a ton of drinks before me I wanted to cancel the order and just come back later. It wouldnât have been an issue at all. However, when I went to ask, the person at the register acted like I was screaming âGIVE ME MY DRINK NOWâ because they acted with such hostility that I was so embarrassed. It caused all the workers behind the counter to stare at us. They created their own scene. He made the person making drinks drop what she was doing and make mine on the spot- when I was telling him I did not wish that. Itâs like theyâre traumatized by karens/entitled people but they took it out on me. Seconds later they called me to get my drink and the 2nd one (the one who made my drink) yelled âBYE HAVE A NICE DAYâ sarcastically meaning to be rude and like wanting to have the last word. It was such a weird experience when I never raised my voice or demanded to be bumped up the list or anything like that. I just asked so nicely if the wait was an app glitch of if they had a big order/meaning to cancel and was immediately treated with...
Read moreI put a bad review here because of a very unhappy racism experience. I used a wrong English word because I was outraged by coffee spilled all over my shirt, and a white woman looked at me with judging eyes, talking to the barista âis she using word xxxxâ. And the barista answered yes. It would be appreciated to notify your customers not to be rude instead of agreeing with them. All of your ancestors are immigrants and English was probably not their first language. I bet the lady does not even know how to survive in a very different country which does not speak her first language with a competitive job offer. Because all competent human beings I run into my life with better education, better culture sense and higher income know how to be respectful and keep learning from others. And obviously she is not one of them. Only ppl with shallow experiences and narrow mind judge because of...
