What has happened to Starbucks in Austin TX?! I'm relatively new to Austin and I'm still trying to figure out why all the Starbucks locations in and around the city of Austin Close at 5pm?!
So confusing for out of towers who come here. I watched 10 ppl walk into the patio and tug on the door after 5pm yesterday...
And speaking of the patio, it hasn't been washed for a very long time. The trees are growing up over the bar area that used to overlook campus. Stray cats live under the patio and a really big raccoon... I thought these animals were pretty cool but it's not ideal in the heart of a college town.
I also tried talking with Management about some of these things and was lied to and dismissed....SMH
No wonder the best baristas at this location are fighting to Unionize.... Management here is the worst I've seen in the country and it probably starts at the district level here in Austin.
There is definitely a theme with how these stores are run, in Austin and it's not a very positive one for customers or the environment....
Hey, but as long as the store is making money, who cares right?!
Not sure how or why Starbucks Corporate is letting this happen, but it's very disturbing as a long time customer, advocate, and investor...
Read moreThis Starbucks is in a convenient location to the campus because 24th St is really close to campus and is a nice middle ground. Because of its close proximity to campus, there tends to be a lot of students all the time so this place can be really busy. That being said, they are also really efficient and quick with getting the drinks out. I never had to wait an unnecessary amount of time for my drink and I am pretty sure that they've never disappointed me in the quality of my drink either. The staff is mainly students but they are all polite unlike typical stereotypes of a Starbucks worker. Also, for being a "cafe" thats so close to campus, you'd think it'd be rowdier than it actually is but the atmosphere here is always really nice and pretty quiet on the inside. Thats also because the inside is bit small however so its hit or miss whether you'll get an inside seat. The other great thing about this location leading off of that however is that they have extensive outdoor seating. I sit outside almost every time but its really nice, just dress for the weather and be prepared to not have any outlets so charge your laptop, tablet, phone, or whatever electronics you need to...
Read moreI have been going to this Starbucks for 3 years (for convenience because I’m a UT student) and the workers are incredibly rude. There is no sense of having good customer-server interactions. Additionally, they are constantly backed up and they have had me waiting 15-20 minutes on average. As someone who has worked at a Starbucks before, they’re whole system and work ethic feels entirely disorganized. And finally, I have had a worker lie straight to my face about getting a beverage out. It took 30 minutes for me to get a decaf pour over and when I asked about it, they said it takes a long time to make this beverage. I then proceeded to look behind the counter and even after the 15 minutes I had waited, they still hadn’t even started it. So, to say the least- this Starbucks is pretty bad. Would not recommend. Go to the target Starbucks on...
