Starbucks — Restaurant in Austin

Leia and the staff working (9/1/22) I came in during a 15 min break from working from home & I completely forgot my entire purse 🙄 (I guess it’s true what they say about pregnancy brain) but then! I was like, “Ooo. I’ve got Apple Pay.” THEN come to find out I never switched my old card with my new one, so Apple Pay was declining. Embarrassed, I apologized for even wasting that bit of time ringing in the drink and said that I’d be back later. Leia immediately told me not to worry and that everyone deserves to have a drink in this heat. The ladies in the background smiled and agreed and continued to make my drink. Thank you guys so very much for making my entire week. You guys are an amazing team and even with other interactions, you all were smiling and so so sweet. I’d definitely feel comfortable coming to this location to do some work and hang out. That being said, my Pumpkin Spice Frapp is amazing and definitely makes the baby happy. Lol Thank you...

I normally don’t right a review for Starbucks as I have always received exceptional service no matter the location throughout the various continents.

However, today’s visit to this particular Starbucks definitely left me speechless… this was one of the coldest service I have ever encountered by a barista/manager… additionally my order was completely incorrect… how does one screw-up a venti brewed coffee with with milk?

I can’t help to wonder why this occurred, I would think maybe because the location was busy at 6:15am… but, I was the only person in the store.

After speaking to a few co-workers regarding morning ordeal; my co-workers politely pointed out to me that I am NOT pigmented challenged and this is somewhat normal behavior/interaction for this...

Um, hi, yea… so… I got locked in the store without anyone realizing I was in the restroom. The front door was locked from the outside. No one checked the restrooms before leaving and the store wasn’t suppose to close until 7pm (said maps)

When I got out and realized I was in the twilight zone, there was a paper on the door stating that they had “made adjustments to the hours” and the store would be closed early today? It was 5:30pm.

I was then stuck there while on the phone with Starbucks support to help get me out for a half hour + and they finally gave me a number to call someone else to help me.

Long story short, be careful here, it could be two hours before close and you could be locked in, and they won’t even offer you as little as a muffin for the...
