Ethiopian food was on my bucket list. Never had it before and the thought of using my hands instead of utensils was interesting. Food is served on a large tray with various veggie dips and meats surrounded by a tortilla type roll that when opened you tear off a piece and use it to grab the spread or meat. I have to say that the taste and flavor was unique and delicious. So tasty and definitely so fresh. Service was professional and very helpful. I had their fruit juices doevificslly strawberry juice like a frosty consistency. The only concern is location. Not being a native Marylander traversing through a tough area was interesting. The owners have been in business for 3 years. I highly recommend this place if you can get over driving in the heart of Baltimore. Fir me it was well w I ryh it. If your looking for unique flavors this is the place l ace. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being excellent zi give Addis Ethiopian Restayrant a 100. It's that good. There was a heap of Injera covering the food we'd ordered so when we both moved the bread to the top half of the To Go box, I was so disappointed to find that I'd spent $22 for a small chicken leg covered in sauce with a boiled egg. That's a lot of money to spend and still be hungry. The service is very friendly and welcoming, but I probably won't return unless I'm just in the mood for a...
Read moreThe food was so delicious, I got the vegetable platter and it was delicious. I'm not a fan of salads but their vegetable combo came with salad and it paired so well with the delicious meal. I feel I could eat the house salad alone and I'd be happy. The dishes on the vegetable platter are distinct flavors and highlight the chefs passion for the cooked meals. The owner was very friendly and made me feel so welcomed. The injera was tangy and spongy and paired well with the spices of the accompanying dishes. Overall I really enjoyed my meal. I will be back. I also ordered a mango smoothie, it was awesome because there was no added sweetener so the flavor of the fruit actually...
