I was on my way to Lexington Market for my weekly Friday lunch break. I usually drive past Culture Caribbean Cuisine (windows up and A/C blasting) and admire the artwork and design of the restaurantās exterior. Today was the day that the smell of jerk chicken on the grill hit my nose when I had the windows down, enjoying the nice weather. I decided to make a U-turn to check it out. As I was pulling up, I saw the grill outside, and I already knew this place was the real deal. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe inside and out. I placed my order, and while waiting, I witnessed one of the customers behind me practically annihilating a big juicy jerk chicken leg. Especially if mama back there maaan expect big do right if you are a regular.i slowed down a little bit but at one point me and my girl was going here (the one across the street from west side shopping center) at least 3x a week. The brown stew chicken is fall of the bone tender and the sauce on it just compliments it so well with rice and beans and cabbage makes you wanna eat the box it cane in after. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is a whole in the wall. Make no mistake about that. However after discovering the authentic Caribbean Taste that this place has to offer have to give four stars. The jerk chicken is not what the Caribbean people would call oven jerk. It's actually made on a grill which is authentic exclamation point the curry goat was tender well-seasoned and unfortunately was so good I couldn't keep the other Forks out of my plate if you know what I mean. In Jamaica macaroni and cheese is called macaroni pie , however the macaroni pie here was not up to par. Also they need to add Sorrel to the menu. Bottom line the majority of their food is authentic tasting well-seasoned and makes this place worth the visit...
