Good morning Mr. Sharkey,
My name is Yolanda Scott, I am reaching out to you as the Director of Transportation. My mother, Sedonia Byrd is a elderly resident of Baltimore City, she is 88 years old and has recovered from three total knee replacement. She has very limited mobility and walks with the assistance of cane. She has several other health issues which also limits her walking any extended distance. In October of 2021, I inquired to MDOT about a reserve parking spot for her because parking is limited on her street, where she has reside for 58 years. I submitted all required documents from her doctor and obtained signatures from her neighbors. I have repeatedly called Ms. Washington and Ms. Tyree to get the status of her request. Finally I was able to reach and speak with Ms. Tyree, who scheduled us for a phone interview the very next day. During the interview, Ms. Tyree asked my mother several questions about her mobility and the fact that parking was limited on her street. At the conclusion of her interview she informed us that our request was granted, and that we should have her reserve parking spot completed within 30 days, that was in January. I have tried reaching her by phone leaving messages with no response from her, what does it take to receive any assistance, this entire process has been frustrating. Please I am just trying to help my mother who at times has to park around the corner from her home and walk with difficulty to her home. If you can help me, I would be greatly appreciative.
Sincerely, Yolanda Scott

EDIT: To PABC's credit, they have not reached out to me within less than an hour, and fingers crossed we can get this sorted...
I am desperately trying to renew my parking permits and cannot because of some glitch in the new website that they "upgraded" to over the summer. I am fearful of losing my permits now and having to find another, much more expensive way to park. I emailed a week ago and called nearly a dozen times, even leaving messages, and have not had any response. I am left to write a Google review in hopes that PABC responds and helps me. Sad that this is what it takes to try to get some help here, short of taking time off of work to drive into their physical office...

When I came in he seemed frustrated about something, and because of f that, I attempted to greet him warmly, knowing that sometimes a nice interaction get brighten someone’s day. However, this gentleman was condescending and dismissive, cutting me off multiple times. I left without saying thank you or goodbye. The gentleman at the door however was VERY sweet. Thank you to this gentleman. As for the first, I’ll be making a formal complaint against him as well.
All people are trying to do is get serviced. It’s already a hassle to do so, and dealing with people who are unfriendly make the process so much more difficult. I suggest this gentleman take some more corrective measure before...
