So Regret having went here. Wasted Time, Wasted money. I call this location The Ersatz Cheescake Factory: As It does not represent The Other Cheesecake Factories. They have gone Rogue here Doing Their Own Thing, and it is not Good. Very Poor Customer Service & Inconsistent, Hit or miss meals AND service @ this Inner Harbor Cheesecake Factory. THIS is is NOT a 5-Star Place. Not even 4. All that anybody gets These Days who has an Awful Experience ANYwhere is a Generic, Insincere Response from The Owner, or if Corporate even Bothers. Nobody Really Cares. It's as if we're lying but then u comb thru ALL of the Reviews and see Many Others Saying Something Similar or Worse.
These BUSINESSES need to be Recorded just like how they do the Police with the Bodycams It is THIS Location. Other Locations are alright. I like Cheesecake Factory but not This 1. THIS ONE! Read thru Most of these Reviews before going here. Not just the Nice Reviews which seem to come right AFTER so many of the less favorable 1's. Stars in the NEGATIVE integers if I could; like -50. WORST Cheesecake Factory and This Particular Inner Harbor Location, they have not been good for years: And I can see when I look Thoroughly thru these Reviews + ppl I know even Strangers saying "Oh, They are Not Good."
As my cousin & I approached the restaurant DIRTY, cloudy, filmy bar display case. Glanced over @ Cheesecake display while being seated it was looking REAL Stale & Sad. My cousin was like ugh let's go somewhere else. I should have listened to her but didn't feel like walking to: ELSEWHERE. Had to wipe off table we were sat at. No utensils on table. Utensils finally given did not seem fully cleaned. Waitress seemed to not want to be there. Had a weird funky attitude like she was being inconvenienced and appeared Mad that she was working that day.
Asked for Fried Shrimp w/ Fries & Slaw Waitress rolled her eyes, GRUNTED, then a Snorted Laugh: "We Stop Sellin' That. We Don't Have That No More." 20 min Bread came with a big hard slab of cold, slimy (not too fresh) butter. My cousin said her drink was good but Fish & Chips we got 35 min in was Terrible. How do you mess up something so Simple? We ate a couple pieces each of the Fish (bec it was hot, crispy, & golden) and we were starving, but it had No Flavor. DRY Coleslaw 0 Taste. What was so very BAD though were the fries which came Limp, Undercooked, Super Greasy, Lukewarm, and SO Much SALT they were practically inedible.
When we told our Crappy Waitress she Laughed outright in an Amused way and asked if we wanted the Manager. The Manager huffed over looked at us and said What's the Problem. Then he said "Well yall ate some." He did ask if we wanted something else but by that time we were just Turned Off. He took 1 meal off the tab. No Apologies, No Acknowledgement: Nothing. He was just: WHATEVER. I should have listened to my cousin when she said her Anniversary Meal here 5+ yrs ago made her & her husband sick...and the Service was also Bad.
I will Avoid this particular SAD Location Like The Plague. They need Quality Control and Somebody to Come In and Get This Ship Str8. Losing Business, Losing $$$. And a lot of US Customers are LOSING OUR $ HERE AND THEY NOT CHEAP. I HIGHLY: DO NOT...

Located right at/on the Baltimore Harbor, with picturesque views of the harbor, if sitting outside, this restaurant is one of the last ones standing (post covid?).
There is a parking lot (IPark) directly across the street, as the location doesn’t have a lot or garage.
During nice days and peak times, I highly encourage reservations as the wait can be long at times.
We arrived about 15 minutes before our outside seating reservation and was checked in promptly. After a bit of hostess confusion, we were paged and taken back to an inside table. As we approached the table we notice the floor was wet under the table (spilled drink?). The hostess dropped the menus and walked away. Luckily there was a gentleman there wiping down another table who tended to the matter.
Service - Not sure if they were short staffed, but our waiter seemed to have too many tables. She took our beverage and appetizer order after seeing us sitting for a while. Well…this is where it goes down hill…
Our waiter brought out, bread and our appetizer. NO water or drinks (soda/lemonade). I refused to eat as I wanted to see how long it would take because I never experienced receiving food before beverages. Needless to say, when she realized we didn’t have drinks, she ran back to get them. When she brought the drinks I asked for a new HOT appetizer that I can eat with my drink, not realizing she forgot my drink, but left me with a water.
Menu - We were hoping for all the typical Cheesecake Factory options, just a smaller location, but was advised many dishes were unavailable. We ordered (party of 4) pasta and sauce, chicken fajitas, chicken Marsala, Korean bbq chicken, and a side Caesar salad.
When our food finally came out, 🤬 we never received the salad. The Korean bbq chicken had shrimp in it. Yes, shrimp. Apparently they fry the chicken and shrimp in the same oil and placed them both on my daughters plate. I had enough, told the waiter, although she not allergic, she don’t eat seafood, but more importantly what if she was, who is checking the food in the kitchen. Pasta with chicken Marsala was hard, as if the noodle sat out and the edges began to get hard. Wife said fajitas were dry. About half way into meal we get the salad. We played it safe and just ordered wings.
Manager never came over to apologize, but we didn’t expect them to, as the entire time we were there, the Manager was running around. Tables sat uncleaned during our entire stay both inside and outside. As you exited, the employees were all outside in the front alley smoking in their aprons.
We’ve eaten here before, but this visit makes me wish they would close the location because it’s not providing the level of service of The Cheesecake Factory brand.
No photos, we just wanted OUT. There are too many options in the area to settle for this...
Read moreFrom the get go, this place was nasty. It smelled like throw up outside of the main door to get in, which wasn’t even clearly labeled. Then when we went to the front desk we initially asked for a table inside, but we had a sleeping child in a stroller and were told, with an attitude, that we “have to leave the stroller up front” if we wanted to eat inside EVEN THOUGH there was a stroller (CLEARLY) inside the location at a table.
We were fine with eating outside since we didn’t want to wake our baby because they had just fallen asleep. Upon going outside, it started to drizzle, and we had asked a very kind bus boy (shout out to him) if we could switch tables to one that was caddy corner to us just under a more covered area since we weren’t allowed to sit inside with the stroller. He said to ask our waitress when she came to the table but that it should be fine.
Right after that, the table behind us asked the same question about the same table and the bus boy said “yes we could accommodate that but this table here (and he pointed to US) just asked for it first.” And she said “okay we wouldn’t mind going inside also” and he told her to let the server know.
15 MINUTES GO BY and our waitress (Kayla) finally comes outside to give another table drinks and started checking on her tables. She checked on the table behind us and they IMMEDIATELY asked if they could have that open table and the waitress said yes and I said loud enough “are you kidding?” And the people sitting at the table gave me a look, and the waitress finally came over and I said “I’m sorry but we had asked for that table first because we’re unable to sit inside because we have a sleeping baby in a stroller.” She said “oh they just asked for it”. My boyfriend said “okay well we just wanted to not eat in the rain” and she proceeded to say “Well what do you want me to do about it?”
That was extremely unprofessional and we felt very uncomfortable as customers. As a business who sees traffic mainly from tourists being right on the water, I’d expect there to be some type of politeness and respect when handing customers. That was incredibly rude and I will not be recommending people to come to this restaurant if they plan to visit Baltimore.
I know part of the issue was the other people at the table being ignorant knowing we had asked for it first so it wasn’t completely the waitresses fault but upon finding out that we had asked first and were unable to sit inside, the response of “well what do you want me to do about it?” Was actually insane to me. That’s literally your job to accommodate your customers as best you...
