Fielder's Choice Ice Cream — Restaurant in Bangor

I just went to fielders choice today, June 23 2023 to get ice cream with my daughter and little sister. I brought my golden retriever with me, and we decided to keep her in the car because it was busy and there was melted ice cream all over the ground. I put up a sun reflector, and had my windows rolled down half way and parked so that the wind was blowing through the car. It was just as warm in my car as it was outside. I waited in line, got an ice cream cone, and had eaten half of it. This is all in a 15 minute time span. One of your employees decided to call animal control rather than trying to figure out whose dog it was. I know everyone wants to be a super hero, but maybe you should tell your employees to observe abusive behavior before they try to get someone’s dog taken from them. 15 minutes, even 30 minutes in a well ventilated car with the windows down will not hurt a dog. If that was the case, dogs wouldn’t be allowed outside in the summer. I would understand if my windows were up and I had taken no measures to make sure my dog was comfortable, but nobody from this place bothered to go check. They just decided animal control should have my dog. Luckily that didn’t happen! They say they are dog friendly there, but they absolutely ARE NOT. From the time I parked my car, messaged my sister, and ordered and eaten half my food, 15 minutes had passed. They likely called animal control while I was in line. I’m sorry but that’s ABSURD. I won’t be coming...

CRRRRAAAAAAAAZZZZY GREAT! It was a bajillion degrees out last week, and my friend and I were dying of heat exhaustion. We drove by Fielder's Choice, slammed on the brakes, and took a hard right. We arrived at the Drive Thru Window on two wheels, ordered a vanilla milkshake and a lemon lime Freezee (Slurpee mixed with ice cream. AMAZING). !from the helpful and courteous Window Person, and proceeded to drive away, enjoying our dairy treats... Despite debilitating ice cream headaches, we came to the conclusion that our drinks were SO GOOD, we had to turn around and get more! The second order was another milkshake (peanut butter this time) and 3 more Freezees (Grape, Cherry, Orange). for my parents and brother at home! I am now cooled off and also very popular... Thanks to Fielder's Choice!

This is now my Favorite Ice Cream in Bangor! This is a serious contender to some of the more established brands around. Check them out! Plus: THEY HAVE MINI GOLF!!!

Two employees standing around, zero customers, not able to get service. I've heard so much about FC and how it's a must try by other flight crews. I was thrilled to be in Bangor overnight. Unfortunately I couldn't actually try their ice cream. I walked a good distance in the cold to show up and see these signs. I didn't see this on their website. Walking back I saw the other half of their sign near the road saying drive thru only. The problem is the half that was towards me on the walk was glitching and showed they were open and then a black screen. Either way, this is stupid. Two couples were walking up there as I was walking down and I broke the news to them. I don't mind the cash only part, I brought cash. I do mind that there were zero customers, two employees and I wasn't able to buy anything because I am not in a car. Why do you guys make it so hard to...
