Our bus driver off the cruise ship recommended this place as a reasonably priced place to grab a small bite. She was 100% spot on. The fish and chips were crispy as all hell while the rock fish super tender inside. This is honestly the first time I've ever actually tasted beer in beer battered fish and chips. The chips/fries were fried nice and crispy. In fact, I didnt have even one soggy fry which is awesome. THE COD FISH TIPS WERE FREAKING SLAMMING!!. I wish they sold a larger portion for a higher price so I didn't have to order two. Cod fish tips are similar to fish cheeks, but instead come from closer to the neck portion. It's super juicy and tender and goes perfectly with the house made teriyaki sauce. The coconut and cilantro rice took me back to my Thai roots and was balanced perfectly with the cod tips. I couldn't get enough and have never had anything like it before. Definitely stop in for one of each if not...
Read moreWe found this food truck as we were walking around the town while visiting on a cruise. The line was extremely long so we figured it had to be good. They had a pretty decent menu for variety when it comes to food trucks. We ordered a small Rockfish fish and chips basket. We had to wait around 10 minutes or so. Where they were set up, they had some tall tables set up that you could stand at and eat your food. We actually took ours across the street and down a block to where the path along the marina is and ate it on a bench there for a view. It came out piping hot. The fish was very soft, moist, and tasted fresh. While in line we overheard some locals talking, so it’s a good sign when the locals go there. It was a great snack that hit the spot for our fresh fish needs before heading back to the...
Read moreFlavors were all excellent and the staff was friendly and got through the large line surprisingly fast. The wait for our food after ordering was pretty long, though. We got a ling cod sandwich, 3 piece fish and chips, and smoked salmon mac and cheese. They were all extremely good, but the batter on the fish was a bit undercooked right where it was in contact with the meat. It had a fantastic yeasty flavor to it, though. My only other complaints are the lack of table space (not much a food truck can do about that, but still a problem) and the small amount of fish on the sandwich. I still highly recommend trying this place, if you have an opportunity. Just know that it will be a bit of a wait and...
