Bagels & Beyond 2 — Restaurant in Barnstable

Staff was pleasant. The one thing I've always loved about Bagels and Beyond was the fact that everyone there are always kind. However I never got the hype about their bagels. It was always my last choice whenever it came to bagels on the Cape. I work on Main St and figured I'd stop in because I am sick of Dunkin Donuts. Today, I really enjoyed my bagel and cream cheese and iced tea. This location has much more potential than the other one, which to me just got stale. Drinking their tea was always a gamble because sometimes it tasted like coffee and it was awful. This tea is great and fresh, I loved it. My bagel was nice and soft, I used to think their bagels were very hard and not enjoyable. I was overcharged .47 for flavored cream cheese even though I ordered plain and the staff was talking about how they overcharged me and only do something when the customer notices and how to not overcharge someone next time. It's whatever, I could tell it's a new environment and they were young and first time working the register. 47 cents isn't a huge deal. This location is a lot better than the other one and I will return. Especially since the prices are right and it's on my way...

Great Food, but the service is not like the Yarmouth location. Gratitude, empathy and humility is missing at the Hyannis location. The manager is downright rude/obnoxious to customers yelling in front of employees, customers and gossiping instead of owning a situation and defusing/fixing it. Its to bad the owner doesn't realize this as it represents his brand.

There is a large assumption customers are to find their orders on their own like a scavenger hunt, as they are not announced and there is no signage that indicates this. A hanging order pickup sign to the left and 1 acrylic sign on the counter 10 feet away to the right for order pickup. so 2 different locations and everyone just stands there not knowing which or if a order is ready. When asked how come they cant just say the customer name the reponse was"whats your problem" were just to busy" mind you there were 4 people there.

It seems some proper management training and some customer service training would truly benefit this new location. Again the menu is great but the service is what kills it. The little Sandwich shop is a few doors up the...

Orderd delivery I had to wait an hour and a half and I paid $50 for two bagels with plain cream cheese and two orange juices.! They forgot almost my whole order! I can't even believe it. After waiting an hour and a half and paying $50 for no breakfast! I don't understand how someone could even do that? I can understand if you forget to put a couple of cream cheeses in the bag or maybe if you're busy you forget to throw in one bagel.. but to forget an entire breakfast meal plus two cinnamon rolls and mini bread loaf and an order of home fries!! Huh? Then charge me over $50 and only deliver two bagels and a oJ! We also put our order in at 10:45am the two bagels didn't show up till 12:15 p.m.!? What is happening.? What a disappointment and a waste of money!

The Yarmouth location is great! Service is amazing. But this Hyannis location needs a lot of work. This is the second time we've had a huge issue...
