Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge — Restaurant in Barnstable

🍦 BEWARE of the Ice Cream price list. It is on display where you order... but: hard to see and even harder to read. Not cool at all. I found out when it was too late. Anyway prices start at $6 for 1 scoop (cup) On their website I could only find the price for a pint of ice cream.

Meanwhile there is a large sign hanging in front of you that tells you the amount of calories for each flavor (for some reason a double scoop has less than twice the calories of a single...) I know that it is a legal requirement but this thing should be managed better. Perception means a lot. And the whole thing seems misleading.

Talking of perception: the place is VERY NICE, clean and it smells like they are working with a lot of passion. The crew is neatly dressed and happy. it's overall welcoming and warm. Vast selection of sweet stuff that looks fantastic!

Now the ice cream: the flavors we tried were decent quality. personally it was too hard, cold and sweet. I know it's not supposed to be gelato, but the Talenti I can get for less than half the price at most...

Love Kilwins so happy to have found my way to this location on my way back to New York City from Provincetown.

This store is kept amazingly spotless and neat. The fudge, chocolates, truffles, popcorn, and especially ICE CREAM were absolutely delectable. Loved the coffee and s’mores ice cream flavors and definitely get the waffle cone! They’re made fresh and were so crispy and delicious.

Staff was attentive and helpful with pointing out the best selections. Will make this location a highlight for every Ptown trip...
