El Corral Lozano — Restaurant in Bastrop

I love this place! I visit from Las Vegas every year and the food is outstanding! The wait staff are hard working and very friendly. This restaurant is very accommodating to people with dietary needs. My parents come here twice a week for breakfast and lunch on Tuesday because the food is so Awsome. My favorite dish is the liver and onions but the chicken fried steak and Mexican food are the best I have have ever had. If you like a no frills, plain old Mexican food joint that won't break the bank, El Corral Lozano #2 may be just what you're looking for. Hot chips and salsa to start. Hubby had the Chimichanga plate (huge!!) and I had #39 - 2 beef enchiladas and a taco. Both entrees came with beans and rice. We each had iced tea and our bill was only $22.71 + tip! We were there for an early lunch, but eying the breakfasts the other customers were eating, I think we'll make a trip back for some huevos as well. All in all, pretty good food at a fantastic price....

Everything thing below still goes. Extremely clean with friendly, helpful waitstaff. Great food at affordable prices. I've never been disappointed. I'm usually there once or twice a month. I'd probably go more often if I lived in town.

Local gem. The outside is deceiving. They aren’t fancy but if you want Authentic, hot, delicious Mexican food this is the place. Decided to try from online ratings and am glad we did! They serve breakfast all day! Good sized portions, friendly wait staff, reasonable pricing, great food.
