I have been waiting for this location to open for what seems like forever! I have loved Skyline Chili ever since I moved to Florida 16 years ago! My friend and I visited this location the first weekend it opened. We got there about 5pm and noticed a line out the door. A nice guy in line explained to be seated we needed to go inside and put our name on the list. As soon as I walked in the doors I was impressed. Good sized place with plenty of tables and counter seating. Much nicer and frankly cleaner than other locations. A friendly gentleman asked for my name and how many in my party. He advised it wouldn’t be a long wait. Not even five minutes later we were seated and being waited on by Dana. She was very attentive and answered all the questions my newbie friend had. I knew what I wanted though. I’d been dreaming about my plain hotdog with cheese and mustard on the side. I told Dana I was allergic to onions and asked if she could inform the cooks to please be careful. Ten minutes later the food showed up. Looked and even smelled like the hot dogs I had before. Upon my first bite I was back in food heaven. With one disappointing taste….onions. The hot dog and the cheese all had a hint of raw, diced onion taste. The cooks are so busy making hotdogs and had to be touching everything together. I ate it. It wasn’t bad. It was Skyline and it’s still a new location. I’m giving them 5 stars anyway because I know tonight was a fluke. The service was great. Fries were good. I’m glad this place is open. I’ll be back for sure!

Skyline Chili Orlando - A Taste of Cincinnati in the Heart of Florida Stepping into Skyline Chili in Orlando is like taking a delightful culinary journey to Cincinnati without ever leaving Florida. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm and friendly staff, and if you’re lucky, you’ll meet Todd, whose hospitality makes you feel right at home. The menu is a treasure trove of Cincinnati classics, with their secret recipe chili taking center stage. It’s a unique blend of flavors that might just have you questioning everything you thought you knew about chili. And for those who crave a bit of crunch with their meal, the Grippo’s Barbecue Chips are a must-try – they add the perfect spicy kick to complement the chili. But let’s not forget the sweet finish – Graeter’s Ice Cream is the cherry on top of this dining experience. It’s rich, creamy, and the perfect way to cool down after a hearty meal. And the cherry on top? Skyline Chili is conveniently located just a stone’s throw away from Disney World – about a five-minute drive1. So whether you’re a local or a tourist visiting the happiest place on Earth, make sure to add a visit to Skyline Chili to your itinerary. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that pays homage to the Cincinnati staple, right here in Orlando. Rating: 5 stars – For bringing a piece of Cincinnati to Orlando and for the exceptional service and unforgettable flavors. Thank you, Skyline Chili, for making Florida even sunnier! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I am so glad I made the drive to visit the Skyline Chili at Flamingo Crossing in Orlando! I don’t know what kind of magic they do, but I am telling you this is the best skyline chili meal I have ever had. I ordered the cheese coney with mustard and onions and extra cheese! And they delivered. The bun was fresh and soft with a perfect amount of chili, mustard and onions and oh did I say cheese? Yes! I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a Skyline before, but I like to take the crackers and put a dot of hot sauce on top. Yum. My cousin ordered the Chili Cheese sandwiches. The service was excellent even though they were quite busy with one table only available when arriving. The food was delivered promptly, freshly and accurately. The server was friendly and personable. The staff was friendly yet busy! The whole atmosphere was amazing because everybody was happy to be there. They offer so much more… Graeter’s ice cream, (if you’ve never had it you have to try it! ), Busken Bakery cookies, snacks, and more. You must review the menu. I ordered a pint of Oregon strawberry ice cream to go as well as a container of skyline chili to bring home… knowing that with my hotdogs and cheese it won’t be quite the same, but will still be delicious! I highly recommend when visiting Orlando and Disney World, to give this a try, even if you’re not from Cincinnati! This is a great stop for locals and worth a drive.

It was our first time in after hearing great things about the chain. We arrived. We sat. Friendly staff! Served by a nice employee who brought us samples to ensure we liked the chili. Shocked, and pleasantly surprised! She said it’s Mediterranean style so wanted to make sure we liked it. She made a comment that the owner wants to make sure every first time customer tries a sample of the spaghetti chili so they don’t send back a dish? I thought that was strange but enjoyed the sample nonetheless.

We looked at the online menu prior to coming and saw a chili bowl we’d like. A chili bowl as in a bowl of chili… at a chili restaurant. After sitting, we noticed it wasn’t on the in-restaurant menu (it’s on the menu online). We asked, and our server stated that the owner will not sell the chili bowls to people unless they have been to the location multiple times (like 3 or 4 she mentioned) because it’s a lot of food to waste if we send it back?? We told her we enjoyed the sample and wanted a bowl. REJECTED HARD. It was “not allowed” for those whom have not had the chili before. Honestly, yeah the chili is different but it’s… good? It’s ground beef. Who’s going to send back ground beef.

The only options were basically spaghetti and hot dogs… We ordered the chili hot dogs with trepidation and they had but a teaspoon of chili on top. Where are the missing menu pages? Is the chili under some kind of lock and key? Why are you gate keeping the chili? WHERES THE CHILI.

Again. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Why remove the chili bowl menu pages? Where lies the forbidden chili we were not “allowed” to have, this we...

I've been eagerly awaiting the opening of Skyline as, being from Michigan and having enjoyed a few meals from this chain up north, Central Florida has lacked really good Greek chili dogs since I moved here in 2019.

Trying out this location via drive thru tonight, I was very pleased with how quickly it moved and the friendliness and personable staff. Full marks.

As for my meal itself, I really, really wanted to be able to give the meal 5 stars...but I just can't.

I ordered the 2 cheese coneys, a side of regular fries, and a Coke...and these totaled nearly $14. Because I could get this same exact meal (but with better portion sizing) back home for half of this price loses one star off the food.

The coneys tasted very good, and I utterly enjoyed the steamed buns and small mountains of real shredded cheddar cheese. But the franks themselves were super small; as in, you could fit them easily into one regular Portillo's beef frank. Sadly, these definitely didn't fill me up, so there goes the second star.

The fries were a decent portion of McDonald's-esque straight cut thickness, and they were hot, but they were completely unsalted. Plus, the fact they aren't included in the combo and came in at over $3.50 as an individual side loses the third star.

Overall, my meal was good; it just wasn't nearly as satisfying as I'd longed for. I'll come back and try other items on the menu, but it breaks my heart that the coneys could be so much more, but just aren't. However, my sincere best wishes to the proprietors as this location...
