Stopped by for a lunch on a weekday and the restaurant wasn't very busy but that was just fine for us. Our waiter Brent must of had one too many and he was sent home and replaced with a more seasoned waiter. The food was quite good - paella Valencia and shrimp in green sauce was our order for lunch. The food is served family style with a side of vegetables, rice and thin sliced fried potatoes. There is also a soup served with the meal which was a nicely done homemade chicken soup. The prices are completely reasonable and the atmosphere is a throwback to the Italian style restaurants of NJ in the 1980s. Would definitely come back, hope Brent didn't have too bad...
Read moreA waste if my money. I shoulda went to my spot all the way in Mountainside or in Newark. Food was sooo not good! Went on a double date, ordered some appetizers and thats were the best part ended. The decor could use some updating, but it's very clean. Linen tablecloths and napkins, ceramic dishes- casual fancy is what I perceive it to be. This place would really be good for all occasions, and the bar area is large enough for a healthy night life. We ordered stuffed scallops, paella, rice, garlic potatoes, garlic chicken, potato chips (they're hand made), and red sangria. At the end of the night, the staff enjoys a meal together- I loved seeing...
