Kay jewelers not only as a customer service company sucks but what they sell is garbage. I bought earrings and a necklace together 2/14/24 and my wife attempted to wear it and the earring stud fell off. I took it back to be replaced 5/4/24/ and they did, but the first time my wife tried them on the same exact thing happened when she took them off. I brought the jewelry back and was told it was too late to return them for the money back but could get something else for the same amount which was relatively cheap for what you would think as a ārealā jewlery store which was $200 (the jewelry was on a sale from $400 at the time) I told them I would like for my wife to exchange it for something she wants this time that would work better and they put it in their ānotesā. My wife went today 11/4/24 to try and get something and they told her a few things but one being that because she did not bring the Jewelry in for the 6 month checkup that there nothing that can be done other than $100 repair or buy the extended warranty for $55 to repair the piece. The manager called today and said he talked to customer service and they said thereās nothing they can do. The email that states any material or workmanship of their jewelry is covered for 12 months is phony, they said that it had already been replaced once so that doesnāt applyā¦. Well thereās nothing that says how many times you can replace it. Kay jewelers sucks, they wonāt help and you mind as well go to dollar general or give some random shady online jewelry...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband bought me a beautiful infinity ring there for my birthday in March. After our purchase he was given a $1,200 gift voucher. Well Covid hit and the store closed down. So we go in on November and they were not the friendliest of staff. They did honor it, but we were a little confused on how the voucher was to be used. It wasnāt $1,200, it was $100 off any $300 purchase. We still didnāt get why it said $1,200, but maybe thatās just us. We still purchased something. The Hispanic lady (the only reason I point out that sheās Hispanic is because I donāt remember her name and I want them to know who it is) was not the friendliest. Iām not going to say she was rude, but when youāre there spending over $5,000 in 8 months, you would think you would get better customer service! After our purchase, I received an email for a customer service review. I was honest and stated everything I said up above. I received an email from Timothy Sumruld the very next day. Apologized and wanted to further discuss my complaint, and they take this very seriously. I responded and told him I would be happy to discuss this further with him. After 2 emails I sent him, I have yet to hear from him again. Oh Iām lying, he sent me an email about a pre-holiday event. I know this is small Baytown, but that should NOT have an effect on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I decided to stop by this location to get a second wedding band to complete my custom wedding set upon arrival the service was less than mediocre and the selection was very limited. I wanted my ring the day that I walked in so I decided to settle for less. My ring size is the standard ring size of seven and upon purchase, I asked what was the price because that was not given nor was we able to use my coupon because we was $40 short of the sale. At that point I decided to go to another store in which I actually spent more than the ring that I initially was going to settle for. My husband got a rose gold watch, and I received another prettier wedding band that was to my likings and also my husband purchased earrings. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Simply, because I felt very discriminated against. I am a proud African-American woman married to an African-American male. The service we receive was very discriminative⦠perhaps weāre just the wrong color. Might I add, I am at the highest vault, one can be with Kay Jewelers because weāve spent so much money with the company in a...
