I want to start by giving a shout-out to Nina, the operations manager. Since this place opened, she has been incredibly helpful, and I genuinely appreciate her. She creates a welcoming atmosphere, is easy to talk to, and does a fantastic job.

I had previously visited Insomnia Cookies near the University of Dayton, and my experiences there were always disappointing—the vibe felt off, and some of the staff did not leave the best impression. However, that is not the case at this location. It truly is a game-changer.

The cookies are absolutely amazing! My favorites are the Red Velvet and the Double Chocolate Chunk—both are must-tries. I'm happy they opened this location because it was much needed. I've been there twice, and my oldest daughter has been there once. Cookies and brownies are warm and very good! Service, however, is lacking. Walked in the store today around 11:45 am and waited several minutes before a female employee walked out from the back. She wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly either. I ordered 1 brownie and she put it in a square box big enough to hold 8-10 brownies. Odd! My daughter got her 1 cookie placed in the same large box. Don't they have paper bags or something smaller and less wasteful? I have the rewards membership but on both visits neither employee asked me about it, and the app doesn't tell me how to get credit (I still have the receipt). When I walked in the girl up front took off to the back and arrived back 5 minutes later. When placing my order she seemed confused about how to work the register and went back to the kitchen. Came back a minute later and took my order. I ordered a confetti cookie (undercooked) red velvet (over cooked and crunchy and looked NOTHING like the photo) and a chocolate chip (perfectly cooked).
