This location was such a disappointment tonight. We were served by Victor and Katelyne but both were stressed with their work load, as well as only one more worker behind the counter.
My review is so low because from the moment my friend and I walked in to pay and pick up a call-in order, the vibe inside the restaurant wasn’t welcoming. We didn’t feel anything unpleasant until trying to engage with the staff, Katelyne in particular. As someone who works in the restaurant industry at a very busy location, I do understand the stress and anxieties that come with the job but to show so much irritation is unprofessional. My friend and I hadn’t even said hi, we were just waiting silently for them to get done with whatever they needed. We got no greeting and definitely went to the wrong spot to pick up the order but had no one acknowledge us to let us know.
I had wanted to get a large fry and large lemonade, as I’d forgotten to have my friend put that with my sandwich when she called in, but it took near 10 minutes and it wasn’t because fries needing to be thrown down or lemonade running out. And the attitude shown while Victor was taking an order over the phone just isn’t something that people should see. Rolling eyes and showing irritation in front of customers that probably ordered or will order over the phone, like my friend and I did, is just a reflection of how customers are actually treated and thought. Not good.
We hadn’t come in rudely, we weren’t demanding of their attention, we weren’t impatient, and we weren’t disrespectful. I can understand being stressed, one person understaffed, and being run off the feet. I cannot understand the bad attitudes to the extent of making customers uncomfortable and putting them off.
On top of the issues with the customer service, one out of the three subs ordered had no toppings. I got a cheesesteak with nothing but pizza sauce, cheese, steak, and mustard. That wasn’t a bad combo but it’s not what was on the ticket, it wasn’t what was ordered, and it’s not what was paid for. The ticket on the bag confirmed that my sub wasn’t correct because it had ingredients that weren’t present. I’ve read reviews about this location being stingy on ingredients but this is no toppings at all. If I wanted steak, sauce, and cheese on white bread I wouldn’t have let my friend buy me a sub. I could have made it at home without the attitude, the waiting, or the guilt of my friend paying for an incomplete sub.
Not sure there’s anything for them to do, at this point. The company needs to make sure their staff aren’t so stressed out that they make these types of mistakes. These are little things that pile up to form an overall unpleasant experience, even for those who are and have shown understanding.

We receive a bag with food not thinking that our food would be in it we waited I approach the counter and they say we brought you the food I open the bag and we are missing a sandwich they sent sarah to my table and the first thing she says is are we sure we didnt eat it she looks at the table and sees we havent ate anything no wrappings open and looks at the ticket on the meal and says we only got you for two sandwiches so you got to order another
I am so disappointed and upset at how they treated us
This incident is one that i would say is discriminant against race i dont have my pants sagging and coming in loud and i didnt even give them a problem i am a co business owner of a growing consulting firm someone who gives back to the community and someone who is currently sitting on the board of a nonprofit opening a community center
I am just so disappointed with this behavior coming from such a great establishment
But dont get me wrong the food was excellent

Read moreIt’s an above Average Penn Station which has had a fair few ups and downs, they ended up messing up my boyfriends order on a very hard day and he ended up crying but they did their best to make it right and even gave us a free cookie. Another time they got it completely right and went really far out of their way to get it right. Would I recommend this penn station to others, probably, would I say it’s the best no. Today though they did something really sweet they helped me out but offering to hold part of my order for later so it would still be at least warm when my boyfriend gets it. So they have pretty great employees and they might make a mistake here and there but they will make sure to right it and offer recompense. 8/10 Would come here again would leave generally content and would eat too much food again.
