Donut King — Restaurant in Beaverton

I’ve finally discovered a gem in the world of doughnuts—Donut King! This place truly lives up to its name, consistently serving up the freshest and softest doughnuts I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Unlike many other doughnut shops I've visited, Donut King offers an exceptional range of flavors that are always on point. Each bite is a delightful experience, with textures that are simply amazing. Honestly, if I lived any closer, I might find myself visiting every day, and my wallet would surely take a hit!

One of my all-time favorites from their menu is the bear claw, which is filled with a delicious combination of apples and cinnamon. The balance of flavors is perfect and makes for a delightful treat. I also can’t resist their classic maple bar, or the maple bar with a chocolate swirl on top—both are absolutely outstanding!

*EDIT: 7/23/23. My daughter just came back from getting a variety box of donuts (at 7 am Sunday morning) with specialty donuts added. I am beyond shocked that they would sell old donuts as fresh donuts. The glazed is already dry and flaking off, the twist is hard, and the maple bar frosting pops off with each bite. My guess is these have to be 3 days old. I don’t know how they would have donuts that old, especially the glazed. Even my daughter said they tasted old before I even looked at the box. She said she didn’t check the donuts because we have had them before so why check? Nothing was said about the old product-so not sold at a discount. She paid $33.46 with the tip. I am amazed and disappointed that these were even allowed to be sold. This is not the quality we have known from this shop and the last few visits have been getting worse. We will not be spending our money here again.

I’d share a picture but I’ve already eaten my donut! This place is absolutely the royalty of donuts. Not to brag but I’ve sampled quite a few donuts in my time and none compare to the excellence of Donut King. Not kidding. I just tried a gluten free donut today and it was also amazing. Like, not even a bit dry or cakey. It was moist and I was sorta perplexed how it could be so tasty. I’ve always had a good experience ordering from them. And when I pick up one in person, the guy who I think is the owner is always so friendly and kind and just good vibes. Support this local business.
