I just noticed this location by complete chance several weeks ago. I froze for a few seconds remembering the other location being very, very good.
On my first two visits I ordered my two favorite varieties of pho. The first time, when the plate of sides was served, I was stunned to see something I hadn’t seen in ages - culantro, or “sawtooth herb”. I was only aware of it because an ex who was part Vietnamese told me about it and wondered why it didn’t exist here. Not only was that present, the pho itself was great. Their meatballs have much more in them than what I’ve had at any other restaurant.
I really had to try something else, and the first non-pho item I ordered was great.. I couldn’t leave leftovers.
Throughout my visits, in total, I have waited approximately 45 seconds for a table which needed to be cleaned before seating, because so many patrons were flowing through. My longest wait for more water was probably 90 seconds. The staff is spot on and very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, for other places, if you want some good food, whether for warming on a cold day or just good service, come visit this place. It’s much better in every way.
Thank you for opening a new location out on...
Read more$20 for a Vermicelli Bowl??? Definitely overpriced for just an average bowl of noodles. Nothing special. The chicken was also very very salty requiring me to finish one glass of water and waited for a refill which never came. And while we are on the topic of service, my wife asked for NO cilantro and they still added cilantro and when we told the server as he handed her bowl he just acted stupid and just ignored her. Then we waited and waited for our check and I ended up walking to the cashier to pay. The restaurant is clean, but the seating is cramped where we had to move the table to make enough room to pull my seat out and sit down. The bottles of condiments were clean on the exterior, but when I went to squeeze some Sirarcha on my noodles it squirted out at about a 45 degree angle. FINAL VERDICT, we will NEVER be...
Read moreA pleasant establishment with great authentic Vietnamese food frequented by people from the Asian continent (which to any non-Asian often means, the food must be good!). We were pleased all together. The atmosphere and decor felt authentic to its roots. The food was delicious, made of fresh ingredients and, best of all, very tasty. My wife tried the Pho (soup) and she was delighted, very hearty. I tried the ribs over rice, yum! Our 6yo tried the combo spring rolls, and loved them. And for dessert we tried the red bean ice; which after having travelled to Taiwan once, I felt was very refreshing and delightful. The waiters were very courteous, attentive and helpful. The prices were well placed, not too high and not too low. Overall, I think this is one of the most authentic and best Vietnamese restaurants in the...
