The food and atmosphere of this place are so lovely. Stopped by on a whim one day before work and got the seasonal blackberry mocha. It was incredible. Thought the younger girl with glasses service was alright. Not nice, not mean, not warm really either. Seems like a hard worker, almost a little too much. Both times I've come in, there wasn't anyone else in there, but drinks and food took quite a while. I came in on Wednesday and the same thing, very mediocre service, but not mean, just not even nice though. She almost makes me feel uncomfortable, like I don't belong there. I first ordered a blackberry mocha, then asked to order a banana cream latte, and then asked for another blackberry mocha but with oatmilk. After the second drink was made, I waited for a few more minutes and saw she made a drink for another customer and I got up the nerve to ask about the third drink and she said I only ordered the two and I'd have to pay for another. I got there and waited 15 minutes for everything, and at that point, I would happily pay, but this transaction was making me late for work. She was heavily distracted with making egg souffles while also making my drink order. Seeing how there was no one else there, I thought it was strange how she was just doing way too much. There was also no apology, just you need to pay more. I want to love this place and the idea, but I fear my 2 interactions may have ruined it for me...
Read moreThis place is incredible! I'm not from here but I wish there was a location like this in my city. First off, I eat a bagel nearly everyday. I had a vegan bagel deluxe with spinach asiago cream cheese on an everything bagel. Now THIS was a proper bagel sandwich...the flavors within blew me away! The bagel was perfectly toasty on the outside and I was appreciative of the vegan options like the sausage and egg. The vegetables were fresh and the sandwich was made to order. I will be craving this bagel sandwich every day to come. Now to the coffee... I got a seasonal latte, the peach cobbler iced with oat milk. My goodness. What a treat! It was topped with a cardamom foam that was absolutely magical. The espresso coming through was delicious. They know what they are doing here! The owners are fully passionate on their mission of Mutts, helping both dogs and their community. I love their slogan "misfits make the best fits" as I have rescued my two dogs. The art around the Cafe is like a gallery and I love that they offer local handmade goods. This place is amazing, and while you can get coffee and bagels many places, majority of those places do not compare to this one! And...you help dogs! Thanks for the...
Read moreMutts Coffee is exactly what Beaverton needed!! This is become one of our families favorite spots for so many reasons!! First, we live in a coffee town. We are serious about coffee and beans and roasts. Mark understood the assignment. Coffee here is on par with the best of the Portland coffee scene. I am continually impressed every time I sit my oat milk latte. Secondly, their pastries have all been delicious as are their breakfast sandwiches. I personally love that they use so many local brands and businesses and everything that they do! They also have options for so many dietary restrictions!! Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan! And of course the best part?! How much they give back to the local dog rescue community!
Mark and Jaclyn are so lovely and welcoming. They are authentically, good people and you can tell they poured the heart and soul into such a special place! They are passionate about coffee and dogs, and it’s evident from the moment you walk up until the second you leave! Thank you Mutts Coffee for helping all the pups in our community and making our...
