First, let me share the positives before going into my 1-star review. This place has a cool atmosphere. There are lots of TV's on the walls, so if you come to watch a sports game, you will have plenty of viewing options. I ordered an Old Fashioned drink, some cheese fries, and a Double Double Smash burger. The drink was good. Not the best Old Fashioned I've ever had, but not the worst. The cheese fries were soggy. They had a good flavor, though. I substituted the regular fries that came with my meal with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were awesome! The Double Double Smash burger was delicious as well. However, the beef patties were super thick. Nothing 'smashed' about them.
Now the bad.... well, not bad, just ugly. Our service was HORENDOUS. Where to begin? Our waitress took forever to get to us. She came to our table to get a drink order and forgot what we ordered. She came back with the wrong drinks. I just asked for water and I got a glass full of ice with little water. Not a big deal. When we finally got all of our drinks correct, I asked her what type of bourbon was used int he Old Fashioned. She said "whiskey." Okay. Whatever, I'll choose whatever rail spirit they have. I wanted to substitute, but that would have confused her more. I stuck with what she gave me. It was decent. She then came back to our table and took half of our table's order. Yes. Half. She walked off after half of the table ordered. It took another ten minutes to flag her down. When we finally got her back, food was brought out to our table. Not our food, though! Wrong table. Everyone seemed confused. We sent the food back to the kitchen and immediately it was brought out to another table. Finally, we got our food. We tried to flag her down again for more water and refills, but she was too busy yelling at her manager saying, "It's just not fair!" before storming off into the kitchen. The manager rolled his eyes and walked away. The waitress came back and started trying to talk to all of the other staff. Completely ignoring us. When I finally flagged her down, I asked for more water. She brought a pitcher and left. Didn't even fill my cup! Then, it came time for our checks and to go boxes. She didn't bring the boxes, so I walked over to the cabinet and helped myself. The staff at the front looked at me puzzled. When I told them that we didn't get our boxes, they didn't do anything. They looked back at their phones.

Read moreI have been to this location a number of times. It seems that things have taken a turn. Directly when it comes to the front end. While here, I waited about ten minutes. While waiting, an realizing that my server ( whom ever they were), were no where to be seen. I then took it upon myself to ask a server that walked by if she could help me. She then took my drink order. About 5 minutes later, my server came by with my drink. I then ordered food. My sandwich was good. So I attempted to take the time to enjoy it. While eating a man kept hanging out by multiple tables. Not only was he making me uncomfortable, but other guests. I found it to be interesting, so I mentioned it to my server. She knew him by name. As well it seemed by the manager ( photo given). He spent alot of his time chatting with the man and who he was with while I was there. When I had mentioned how it was uncomfortable to my server, she seemed the lack to care about the lack of boundaries that the man had. Which the manager had no problems with as well, by his interaction with him. All and all, the food was good. But, to wait for ten minutes and having to ask to just be served. And the manager not caring about his patrons, because his "friend" invading personal space was more important while people are eating... For my experience today, this blew my mind. How can the manager literally be more interested in having side conversations, then his guests.
As for your companies response to the review. If all you do is state you apologize, and place your email in the response, for me to reach out... It will show how responsibility for how things are...
Read moreWe go in to eat after a hard day of work and they kick us out because we didn't have our ids we weren't planning on drinking and we didn't intend to we already ordered our drinks/appetizers and the waitress asks us if we are all over 21 we say yes and a few minutes later a bartender from the bar across the street (from Ice House) rudely asks us for our ids we tell him we don't have them and he replies "You have to get out!!" the bar guy was really rude and disrespectful there is a way to talk to people and apparently he doesn't need to be in this industry. I asked the rude bar guy, where it states you have to be "21", he replied with there us no signage this is a bar after 10pm. He has absolutely no customer service or compassion, then we were explaining the situation to the manager and the rude bar guy from Ice House literally looked away from us, as if I wasn't addressing him. We had no clue, it was 21 and up after 10pm, per the rude bar guy from Ice House. Not sure why the waitress couldn't address us, instead she had to call the rude bar guy from Ice House next door. It would have been a totally different story, if he would have addressed us correctly, and not just stating that " Y'all have to get out" like we weren't people. In my life, I treat everyone with respect no matter who you are, I can't state the same for the rude bar guy, who refused to give me his name. The manager did apologize, but it definitely rubs you the wrong way the way your treated, which was totally uncalled for. You have to be humble... I hope the rude bar guy learns from this experience, I speak up for myself...
