Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Bedford

• Updated* I am updating my previous post related to customer service issue at this location. This time I am giving 5star based on my recent visit experience. I Noticed that staffs were polite and treated customers the way they should be treated. All staffs tried hard and did their best to create best experience for the customers. Service was prompt and fast. And no extra charge for customizing sub.

*Customer service failure. I am a regular customer of this place ordering #43 Chipotle giant size to go all the time. One day, there was an Asian girl ---my guess is that she looked Chinese(She looked East Asian rather than brown Asian from the southern region of the Asia continent). She was about 5 feet 1inch tall, and chubby. As usual, I ordered #43 Chipotle giant size to go adding Jalapeno and mushrooms, she charged me extra dollars under #45 at the checkout. The first time she did that, I let her slide thinking she made a mistake, and didn't mention it to her. When she did that again the second time, I had to stop and asked her knowing she did it on purpose. When I asked her why she charged me #45 when I ordered #43, she answered " If you add mushrooms and Jalapeno, it makes #45" I was so shocked by her response that she didn't even ask for my permission to ring up more expensive but similar Sub and didn't allow a customer to customize their own sandwiches without charging extra. She was penny-pinching, unpleasing her regular customer. Penny's pinching might help in the short term but in long term not good for the business because she just lost her regular customer who is not returning anymore due to the poor customer service she rendered. When she repeatedly altered a customer order and rang up a more expensive sub multiple times without a customer's consent just to penny pinch, I decided to try a different location instead of returning to this place. I would rather redirect my money to help other Jersey mike's locations, which treat customers right than supporting this place. Tip--- This short, and chubby East Asian(potentially Chinese) girl(can't remember her name) needs some customer service training if a store manager happens to...

Love jersey mike's. Been going to other locations for years. This is the first location where I have had employees handle money with the same gloves they make my sandwich with. Change your gloves ladies!

*UPDATE 11/23/21 - Just had yet another terrible experience at this place. I paid $9.45 plus tip for a sandwich and when I got home it had maybe three table spoons of shredded roast beef. It looked like leftovers from the cutting board. I returned it and asked for a new one while pointing out my disbelief that they would put out a product like that.

I also asked the worker to change their gloves as they were standing there typing on the cell phone WITH THEIR GLOVES ON...AGAIN. That is so unsanitary and disgusting. After all this you could sense the attitude as they walked in the back. The other two employees also said nothing. No apology, no ownership, nothing. This place looked totally absent of a manager and nobody there has any customer service skills.

When I asked for a refund they offered to give me a larger size, but at that point it was the principal of the matter. If I wanted a giant sandwich, I would have ordered one in the first place. Throwing an upsize at your customer isn't always the answer. I wasn't interested in free stuff, I was interested in a quality product and service.

Done with this place. Save your money and go to a different location or a different place all together that values their customers and knows how to...

I frequent this location often but have never had a worse experience at a single fast food restaurant. I ordered three sandwiches and every one was wrong. Two of them had an added something so it was easy enough to remove and feed my family but one was supposed to be mikes way and had only meat. I brought that one back to the store to have it remade. Wasn’t upset or anything just wanted the right sandwich. That was until they kept questioning me like I was the bad guy. I showed them the receipt that showed none of my sandwich’s were meat only and they fought me on remaking it. They don’t charge anything to make a sandwich’s miles way and they were acting like I was stealing. After a long back and forth they finally decide it was ok to but the free veggies on the sandwich I brought back without offering to remake entirely. I have always loved Jersey Mike and never had an issue with any of them or this location until today. Looks I will be traveling twice as far from home to...
