I have dealt with them twice and the first time I called because I have extremely specific nutritional needs and talked to a lovely person who was so kind and helpful. Enough to make us go back and spend money on something that if I was feeling better could make myself . But we went back for more 2 weeks later. I called the same store and was greeted by a person that needed to not work with people. They were very rude and every time I would say an ingredient they would bark at me immediately to ring up the pizza. I asked for the manager after having done most of the pizza and there was no record of it being started. It turns out their calls go to a call center some of the people have worked in the store so they know the store is well enough to sound like they're right in the room with your pizza. Both experiences are fabulous as far as the food went. I can always find one little thing that I wish would have went different but but as far as pizzas go this was definitely Very good! But for one person. Unless you've got a very tiny appetite the part covered with food is about the size of a paper plate I recommend Mega dough myself but I get a lot of veggies so there's moisture and no cheese. I know there are bigger seemingly less expensive pizzas but when you come down to it it's mostly cheap cheese Lousy veggies and dough. The store also has all fresh veggies they don't get a bag of chopped cooked tomatoes like some places. All in all I would recommend them highly and I would recommend going in the first time so you can see the experience and it will allow you to make a better pizza for yourself! There are other things on the menu that you may want to add to make it a bigger meal especially if you're going to share. They seem to have a way of accommodating you no matter what your issues are. Other than one bratty kid that shouldn't be working with people at a call center we have had nothing but good experiences. Both of my experiences were at the store on 20th by Ross and the store where people sell their clothing. If you do have special dietary needs and you need to call if you don't like the way you're being treated just asked for a store manager and they connect you to the actual store your calling. So as far as value goes for $10 and some change for each Pizza I get a pizza that has more veggies than some people eat in days if not longer. It's a great value depending on...
Read moreGenerally I love the pizza, but the service at this place is horrible. They really don't give a dang about their customers and are ridiculously critical of people. I'll say for this particular occasion, I called to place an order a little before closing, about 10 minutes, which I know isn't the coolest thing to do, but I was doing my best. They refused to take the order even though I was en route and I explained that I would be there right at closing time. So the guy tried to say if you get here before closing we can take your order otherwise you're burnt. I explained that I would be there at 3 after and asked if they would make the order and let me get it. He said okay, and it sounded like everything was all good. So i drove to this place expecting the order to be there and it wasnt, they were closed, wouldnt let me in (fair enough it was closing time), but when i called they said that their coworkwr told me i had tl be here before 10. I have a cane, im slow, i just got done working, i didnt want to order so late, but i was in a pinch. Most places would have taken the order and let the customer pick it up. That's what I thought was happening. Heck, they were inside cooking another person's order when I arrived. And they were doing that until they had been closed for 15 minutes. I know maybe I'm being too critical of them, but in ALL of my experiences at nearly every restaurant, they would have accepted the order and let the customer pick it up. Uncool. What's more uncool is the guy sounded like he agreed with me and said okay, and so I drove there quickly, away from home, and wasted my time. The lady wasn't very nice either, choosing to hide behind vague half responses and he said she said remarks about her coworker. I do deliveries for Mod all the time, but I don't think I'll be affiliating with this particular location any longer. I'm...
Read moreHad my first experience with MOD pizza today and was delighted (and full) by the end of my meal. The decor when you first enter is modern and classy. Everything is clean and orderly, with special attention given to the layout of the restaurant. The smell is sinfully intoxicating. Think of your favorite childhood pizza parlor mixed with an Italian kitchen and fresh baked dough/pizza. When I entered, I was greeted with smiles and hellos from ALL the employees, even a kitchen prepper who was refilling the topping counter. As I approached the counter I noticed a huge assortment of toppings, all of them colorful, vibrant, and delicious in appearance. I believe all the ingredients are prepped and cut in house, back in the kitchen. The kind young woman at the counter asked if it was my first time in a MOD, to which I sheepishly replied yes. She smiled and gave me the 90 second pitch on what they do, which is offer totally custom, unlimited topping personal 11" pizzas for one price. The crust and toppings are of seriously high quality. They use state of the art ovens that bake the pizzas at 800 degrees for 3 minutes. So in total, by the time you you enter the joint, you have a piping hot pizza in under 5-6 minutes. As I was ordering and customizing my pizza, it felt almost wrong how much control I had over the pizzas outcome. (For those worried of making a mediocre pizza, they have "classic" recipes on the menu you can order from) My meal came out to around $10 including a drink, which by the way are also made in house. I got the lemonade and it was absolutely delicious. All in all, MOD's service, quality of ingredients, atmosphere, and value make it a restaurant that I will always keep coming back to. For those who like chipotle, think of MOD pizza as its distant yet really attractive cousin who is super...
