So I gave this place another try and it has now become my go to coffee shop for their delicious Indian Filter coffee. I'm hooked! I only wish it was bigger or they had more sizes to choose from. The drinks are regularly priced with other coffee shops in the area and offer traditional South Asian drinks like Haldi Doodh (tumeric milk) along with black tea with cardamom, Green tea with cardamom and regular coffee drinks as well like lattes and cappuccinos with all locally sourced and organic ingredients which I really think they should highlight more. I got the latte once and wasn't a fan and found it be extremely bitter so I had to put a lot of Jaggery "gur" (natural cane sugar) to sweeten my drink.
Street parking is available as well as the many apartments nearby have retail parking available for free up to 3hrs. You can also park at the Downtown Bellevue Park that is right across and a short 2min walk.
The atmosphere here is very calming and a great place to get work done. and the baristas are awesome, friendly and well informed about the menu every time I've asked. They also have some soft seating in the back along with an Indian swing and chairs and tables.
Definitely a great place to catch up with friends and best part is they are open till later now and close around 8-9pm most...
Read moreI’m a loyal patron of this coffee shop, visiting weekly for the last three years. While there’s a lot to love, there are also some clear areas for improvement:
The Good: Coffee & Matcha: Consistently high quality, a highlight of every visit.
Food Offerings: Macarina bakery items and other food are always delightful.
Room for Improvement: Staff interactions lean more transactional than relational, missing the chance to build rapport with regulars like myself. Customer relationship training could add warmth and community to the ambiance.
Order Timing: There’s often a timing disconnect when ordering multiple items, which disrupts workflow or relaxation. Synchronize order prep to avoid multiple disruptions for customers.
Ambiance & Comfort: Noise: The environment can be loud, making it hard to focus on work or conversation. Chairs: The screeching chair legs are distracting and uncomfortable for everyone.
Adding soft pads to chair legs and considering some form of sound dampening could significantly enhance the overall atmosphere.
I want this place to succeed, and see these points as opportunities rather than setbacks. Owners, these are solvable issues that could make your coffee shop a...

Rating: ★★★☆☆
Third Culture Coffee is in a prime location and an atmosphere was welcoming, making it a charming spot for coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The offer of free coffee refills adds a nice touch, enhancing the value and experience for anyone looking to spend some time working or relaxing with a good cup of joe.
However, my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. I was excited to try the Indian filter coffee, expecting an authentic and robust flavor, especially given that the owners are Indian and presumably well-versed in this particular brew. Unfortunately, the coffee did not meet my expectations. It was unexpectedly sweet and not traditional which masked the rich, intricate flavors I was looking forward to, ultimately leaving me disappointed.
While Third Culture Coffee does a lot right, particularly with its ambiance and customer-friendly policies like free refills, they might need to revisit how some of their specialty coffees are prepared. For aficionados of traditional Indian filter coffee, this might not be the spot to find an...
