I came here because of the good reviews but i was not impressed. Super cute cafe but horrible matcha drinks. I am definitely a matcha enthusiast and try to go to as many matcha cafes as i can when i travel, but i don’t understand why this cafe has high reviews. I always judge a place on the basic matcha latte. You have to be able to understand the basics before you go and add more complexity to a drink. They pre-prepare their matcha, which i do not like. I think it makes for an inconsistent blend and you don’t get matcha fresh. oat milk: my personal opinion, but i hate the oat milk brand that they use. i’ve tried this brand before and it has a bland taste and is not as creamy as other brands. if you don’t like the brand “pacific foods” don’t come here
Matcha latte: 0/5 does not taste like matcha. I only tasted milk. I’ve had bad matchas, but I think this is pretty low on the scale of bad matchas i’ve tried. I asked for honey but there was barely any added if any?? never get this drink. Purple haze: 1/5 It only gets a 1/5 because it tasted like lavender. I didn’t taste anything else in this drink. Not enough matcha.
Side note; if you want an iced drink, you can’t get it in a 12oz. please put that signage somewhere. also, idk why you can’t make a 12 oz. just adjust the proportions so i’m not forced to get a 16 oz
Overall, this place is cute. They validate your parking. Don’t come here if you actually like matcha because you...

I rarely come to old Bellevue even when I used to live in downtown Bellevue 10 years ago. It's nice to see interesting shops here, and the decor is primarily targeted towards women as it's very dreamy and cute. And it did its job since there's like 15 women here with 1-2 men when I was there.
It was very easy to order and they are card only, but I was able to tip with cash. The smoothie is more on the solid side (more solid than the two fruit smoothie shops close by). I got the cloudy coconut, which is their most expensive drink without any add-on. The drink tastes like 80% banana and 20% other stuff. I absolutely cannot taste the coconut in this drink at all. I'm not saying it's bad, but it should be named as banana dream or something lol!!! And I will not spend that much money for this given it's very similar to the smoothies I can make at home with a banana. I'd recommend they increase the ratio of coconut milk and decrease the size of the banana they put in for a better balance.
I like this shop and it has a very relaxing vibe. 90% of the customers ordered matcha, as expected. I'm guessing their matcha must be really good since it's quite busy when I was here. I will come back for matcha, but I highly recommend skipping the smoothie (or at least the cloudy coconut) as it has a low cp value imo. But if you want something light for lunch, this is a good replacement as...
Read moreThe shop is decorated in a cute way, lots of variety in the menu (coffee, smoothies, lemonades, açaí bowls, “potions”) with milk alt, or extra boosters/shots of espresso/matcha. They sell toasted food items as well- haven’t tried yet. Small refrigerated section of additional small snacks.
I’ve tried the matcha horchata, but it would be better with an extra scoop of matcha as the rice milk was a bit overpowering. It was interesting they don’t ask for preferred level of sweetness. My friend got the strawberry matcha, said it was good-7/10- but she can make it better at home. Another friend gave her drink a 6/10, the toaster matchamallow, as it was not sweet enough for her & the matcha tasted very light (she prefers the strength of matcha from nana's green tea nearby)
The first time I went the cloudy coconut drink was sold out, but the second time it wasnt, so I tried it. It wasn’t terrible it wasn’t amazing, but I felt healthy drinking it. I really like whatever the blue syrup was, I love the coconut flavor, I just wish my bananas were blended better but I’ll get it again. I kinda like it 😛 I do wanna explore more of the menu tho,...
