Pretty good food. The server was quite entertaining. Atmosphere very nice. I was surprised at how small their menu was, however. On the other hand, when my sister asked if they had any noodles (there weren't any noodle dishes on the menu) the server said, of course we can get you noodles, they're delicious.

My sister's boyfriend ordered the pork belly, and the server commented that the pork belly was a great choice, but even after everyone else's dishes had arrived and were nearly gone, the pork belly had yet to arrive. We flagged down our server, he apologized and said it'd be right up. He returned shortly after and he sets down the plate, saying, your pork belly sir. We all look at the dish as he dashes away to another table, and we all see that what he brought was the drunken chicken, the same dish my sister had ordered. We taste it, just to be sure, and sure enough, it is. We flag him down again, asking if he's sure this was the pork belly, cause it tasted an awful lot like the drunken chicken. He looks at it, agrees that it is the chicken, says he can't take it back, that it was ours at no charge, as it was his mistake, says he'll be back in two minutes with the pork belly. He does return with the correct dish in two minutes.

When we get the check, double checking it to be sure it's charged correctly, we notice we've been charged for the "servers mistake dish" and have to have them correct it. Easily done, but a little more monitoring of accuracy than one usually would like at such an upscale restaurant on a...

Got the gift card from Costco and went for it. The setting is pretty nice and good for an intimate date. I went to the bar area for the happy hour.

1. Sai Gon Slider - the ingredients put together perfectly and I can't get enough of the savory taste.

2. Grilled Marinated Pork Belly - a decent dish with the pot belly grilled to perfection. The marinate is decent. However, this dish has some room to take it to the next level.

3. Bo La Lot - the exotic taste makes this dish stand out. Again, ingredients are put together to provide a complex profile of taste and texture.

4. Crispy Vegetarian Roll - This is a simple dish and yet very delicately put together.

5. Calamari - Fresh and deep fried well! The dipping sauce can use some innovation to stand out from run of the mill dipping sauce.

6. Five Spice Shrimp - The five spice is there, but not quite distinguishable. Shrimp was fried well.

7. Wokked Bok Choy - Yum! I wish I could have some more!

8. Diver Scallops - The texture and freshness are good. However, it needs to kick it up a notch to deserve the price tag.

9. Frog Legs - Deep fried frog legs! Unfortunately, it was a bit fishy.

10. Spicy Albacore - Genius! I Spicy albacore salad on shrimp chips, wish I could have thought of that.

11. Night Shade - bubbly drink with some citrus emphasis

One afternoon last week, my wife told me she had found a highly rated restaurant online and wanted to give it a try. We arrived with great excitement. In terms of the dining experience, the food was delicious, and I could feel the thoughtfulness of the management team. All the staff, except for our waitress, were extremely warm and friendly. However, our waitress was the worst part of the experience and completely ruined our mood. Her attitude toward us was very unpleasant, and our interactions with her felt cold and mean. She was also rude to two other guests dining alone. I even saw her place the bill on top of one of the guest's phone while he was using it—maybe to make sure he pays? I didn’t catch the whole situation, so I can’t comment further.

As we were about to finish our meal, my wife quietly asked me, "Why is she so mean?" The funny thing is, during the meal, I heard laughter coming from behind the bar. When I turned around, I saw our waitress happily chatting with the handsome bartender. I thought she might just be in a bad mood, but it turns out she was only in a bad mood when dealing with customers.

Despite this, the food at the restaurant was excellent, and most of the staff were kind and helpful. But our bad experience did happen, and it really affected our mood. So, I can only give the place a...
