I would like to give 0 star, but unfortunatelly there is no such choice.
Living at The Margot has been nothing short of a constant headache, and I honestly regret signing a lease here. Despite what some glowing reviews might say, my experience has been the exact opposite. The management seems more focused on appearances than actually taking care of residents. They’re not responsive unless you chase them down multiple times, and even then, it feels like you're being brushed off. Maintenance? Forget it. Repairs are constantly delayed—sometimes for weeks—and when someone finally shows up, it’s usually a quick, temporary fix that doesn’t last. I had to live with a broken appliance and a leaking fixture far longer than anyone should in a place charging this much for rent.
The environment around the complex is also a huge letdown. Common areas are often dirty, trash piles up, and it honestly feels like no one is keeping track of cleanliness. It’s frustrating to come home to overflowing bins and messes that stay there for days. On top of that, the noise here is out of control. Whether it’s loud neighbors at all hours, constant banging, or paper-thin walls that make it impossible to relax, peace and quiet just doesn’t exist here. I've reached out to management about the noise multiple times, and each time it's either ignored or vaguely acknowledged with no follow-up.
It’s clear to me now that The Margot cares more about selling an image than actually maintaining a livable, respectful environment. I came here expecting a welcoming, well-managed community, but instead I’ve been met with stress, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. Please save yourself the frustration—there are better places out there that actually value...
Read moreHonestly, living here has been nothing but a headache. The management team is a joke. The manager especially has a terrible attitude — never friendly, never helpful, and it feels like every little thing is too much to ask. You’re paying thousands of dollars in rent, and the least you’d expect is some basic courtesy, but nope, not here. Half the time you walk into the office, it feels like you’re bothering them just by existing.
On top of that, the building itself is gross. The hallways are dirty, the floors never look like they’ve been properly cleaned, and the elevator constantly has some weird sticky liquid on the floor. For the price they charge, you’d think the place would at least be kept up, but it looks run down all the time.
And don’t even get me started on the packages. I’ve had stuff go “missing” more than once. Between the package room nonsense and the lack of accountability, it feels like nobody really cares where your deliveries end up. It’s super frustrating when you’re already dealing with management that acts like they couldn’t care less.
Bottom line: if you’re thinking about moving here, do yourself a favor and keep looking. There are way better options out there for the same price, with staff who actually respect residents and buildings that don’t smell, look, and feel...
Read moreI would strongly advise against considering Margot in Bellevue. Our experience with their leasing agent was nothing short of appalling.
After scheduling a tour, the leasing agent repeatedly tried to cancel last minute—while we were already on our way. When we insisted on keeping the appointment, he begrudgingly agreed to meet us in half an hour. However, once we arrived, he immediately suggested that this building wasn’t a “good fit” for us because we had a king bed without even showing us a single unit. Instead of giving us a proper tour, he attempted to rush us out, implying that our time would be better spent elsewhere.
When we pushed to actually see the available units, he finally relented—but with an incredibly rude and dismissive attitude, as if he was doing us a favor. The hostility was palpable, and it was clear that he had preconceived biases against us. His behavior was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and frankly, discriminatory.
If this is how prospective residents are treated, I can only imagine how management handles current tenants. There are plenty of luxury apartments in Bellevue that actually respect and value their residents—Margot is clearly not one of them. Avoid...
